- Audiobooks are the newest format to hit the book industry, and it’s doing really well. Do you NEED an audiobook? No. Will you miss out on readers if you don’t have one? Yes. The biggest reason to make an audiobook version of your book is to reach these readers. An audiobook also makes your book more accessible and is another source of income. However, an audiobook isn’t right for everyone. Here’s what you should consider before diving into audiobooks.
