There are in this for the money, and there is more than enough proof of neglect and abuse of these poor animals. The tourists never see the full "sanctuary" which is a disgrace to actual sanctuaries to call it one. They need to be shut down immediately. Unfortunately they are always featured in sloth videos from massive TH-cam or even nature television channels. These videos need to be deleted and replaced with ones that tell the real situation of the living conditions. I have to say this 3 times they have been injured so if they fell out of the tree and not rescued that would die a in few minutes and if they saved them they would be living for about like 1 month so there good

The video features Delilah... but her behaviour is not so cute and funny anymore when you know that she is perfecly healthy and tryed to escape at least four times. "One of those times she was eating on the top of a tree close to the cages and Judy sent the team again to cut down the tree (which is illegal also) to retrieve her, knowing the risk of death that the fall represented for Delilah."

It wasnt fake. They have more then they are supposed to have. Which at times i can see that. But they dont get released and they keep more than a few in the bacl out of peoples eyes so you dont see what is going on. I wish it wasnt true. If they are not hurt or sick there is no reason for them to be released. The people that own is the cause and they work with the guy that owns sea world they are family. And he even got busted trying to briing one in to the country. There numbers are good its just there habbit like many others that are in danger and they need to figure out away so the animals can cross over to new habbitat without having to cross the road. There was talk of the goverment taking it over because of what they were doing. Theres another group that does release the animals husband and wife they seem to be ok. You never know as. Much as you want to help give money. Being that there pay is so low and so everything is expensive. To make money of this kind can be a scam for them selves.instead of 100 percent going to the animals I love them as much as you all do i really hope the money and care gets to them instead of the owner. If they are health enough can be on there own they should be doing that. Instead of keeping them for tours and stays to keep making extra money.
You do realize that at this sanctuary, they can't take care of all the sloths? They abuse these innocent creatures and still get away with it. They haven't denied any claims from 2016 that they don't take care of them. For example, they don't give them the correct diet, don't give them their space, after they've grown-up, don't let them back into the wild, then they don't cut their nails so they don't start hurting their palms. There are lots more reasons why this place is not a safe or humane place to go to or even try working at. They had a sloth that escaped various times and they wouldn't just let her be free and live her life. They cut down the tree she was in just so they could lock her back into the tiny cage she is forced to live in. Just because one of them was covering her face and it looked "cute", you wouldn't immediately know that she wanted privacy since they don't give her any and because she's stressed out because of her tiny cage. You would see what's wrong with it once you'd start working there. I wouldn't recommend going to work there if you're gonna be led on by lies about what happens there.
