- This adorable baby sloth is being hand-reared at ZSL London Zoo and he might just be the cutest thing in the world!
We challenge anyone not to instantly fall in love with little Edward, named after Edward Scissorhands, and his adorable yawns! See, impossible.

Humans are lucky to manage 8 hours of sleep per day in an environment they pretty much create for themselves. A sloth can carve out a living in a jungle and still have time to sleep 20+ hours per day. Sloth = ultimate symbol of efficiency!
Just wondering why someone would give this a thumbs down. It's amazing how some people cannot find joy in anything, not even a cute little baby animal. It really makes me wonder what is going on in that person's life that a video such as this can't get them to give it a thumbs up!

My favourite animal!, never forget the first time I ever saw a sloth and her baby...I was on holiday with my hubby and my mum and dad....we fell in love with them both instantly and was forever smitten with them...beautiful!

They have a really slow metabolism and only eat leaves which have no nutritional value so they have to move slowly
