Definitely worth the video because so many TH-camrs mention asemic writing, talk about doing it, but never explain what it is or HOW to do it. Thank you for this!!

The fact is that , there isn’t a how , it’s basically mark making pretending to remind Something, is wordless , you can interpret it as you wish , be inspired by the aesthetic of the text, his gestures, basically is like abstract calligraphy, the difference is about to include every type of graphic mark , calligraphic or not . Even marks that isn’t much good , can be asemic , you can glitch it , you can erase or modify a text on your personal intention and intuition.

Dina, I love your snort. I, too, snort when I laugh. Ascemic writing is totally cool. Then I must be ill cuz I have an enormous pen collection. It's ridiculous. You make me laugh, Dina. We all hate the drying. I love your joy and sweetness. I'm sorry I've not been on your YT, but now I'm totally gonna get back on board. Thank you for a fun show and the ascemic writing and all the books. I'm a born list maker so they are right up my alley. XOXOJANE

When I was in 3rd grade, MY teacher called my mom about a poem I had written for class. She told mother that "the children were supposed to write their poems by themselves." Mother told her that I was reading before kindergarten and that I wrote the poem without any help. I can't believe we have that same experience. I felt very ashamed, as though I really had cheated. Nice teachers!

Thank you so much. I’ve watched another YTer do asemic writing, but I could not learn how to do it. And I could not look it up or find other channels, because they gave it another name. To brand it? To get me to come back to their channel? To be mysterious? To sell multiple classes on how to do it? Whatever. I’ve found you. In just a few sentences you have shared so much instruction. THANKYOU!❤️

So cool to hear more about this writing! I just do this, I had no idea it had a name! It is just writing that flows out. I like that no one can really read it though since it is my journal! Thank you Dina!

I went through the same thing with my 4th grade teacher. When we handed in our art homework, she asked me three times who drew my picture my picture , and three times I told her that I had drawn it, which was the truth. She said that she was going to give me the top grade, hoping that I was telling the truth. In the end, all she ever gave me was a "G" on my report card, even after consistently, turning in work of the same quality. I had a knack for art ,which she refused to recognize.

I have been writing with exaggerated ascending and scrunching letters into the loops. Still readable and complimented. Now I have something new to try!

I just love this video. I am new to your art and products and have the blue journal, paint, sprays, collage book and brush. Love it all. I have arthritis and writing is very difficult made worse by my normally unreadable writing. I realized I could do this asemic writing by looking at your collage pages. It worked. Now I saw your video and gained more understanding of asemic writing. Thank you. Love your videos and love your products.

Thanks, Dina, for providing such wonderful instruction and creative stimulation. Can't wait to get up into my craft room, play with your scribble sticks and do some "asemic" writing in my journals. My husband and I are retired and spring is here in Atlanta, so we've been busy outside, but on days like today, Easter Sunday, it is dark and gloomy and we are awaiting bad storms soon, it's really rewarding to watch your videos and be inspired. Thank you so very much for alleviating some of the stagnant days we are having during Covid 19 isolation.

interesting to hear your take on asemic writing.
on the thing on what to write - dont write anything - asemic writing supposed to be void of meaning
think about looking at other languages like arabic or hebrew, maybe even chinese, japanese, georgian, thai and sumerian!
use the styles of them and feel of them instead of writing in english and squishing it together.
it becomes a new version of lyrical abstraction, you can overlap many layers of text, watered down ink and then biro pen over it?
anyway, love the video and was very nice to see your routine and techniques of your art
