I've been getting so frustrated with building my website and need some help. I'm an artist and what I'm essentially trying to do is to have a page within a page. On my "art" tab, I have three pages to choose from, "Digital", "Watercolor & Traditional", and "Sketchbooks". I want to be able to click on one of those options, and then be met with another set of pages with the options, "Urban Sketching", "Portraits", "Nature", etc, which will then take me to the final gallery page with all of the illustrations within that category. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do that second part. It's only allowing me to create galleries of images, not pages. I'm sorry if this is confusing, but I'm technologically inept and have no idea how to explain what I want properly. 😭
If I have a ton of photos within a gallery, is there a way to only show say 9 photos at a time and then have a "view more" button that you can click and it loads more photos? Without going to a different page preferably. I can't find a tutorial for how to do this anywhere... Thanks in advance!

Is there a way to have a "main portfolio" page (say for photgraphy) that has all of your photos. and then options at the top that a user can click to display the photos based on what they click. say Black and white vs color pics. is there a "term" for this kind of feature?

Hi Dave! Go to DESIGN >>> SITE STYLES >>> FONTS >>> ASSIGN STYLES and scroll until you see something that says 'pagination' and change the assigned style !!
I have a question, how does one add multiple pages at once. Instead of going to add a page, pick blank page, name it then add it. I’d rather just be able to add multiple pages at once.

Thought i add that you can add captions to image when using the image block and include e.g. Caption Text to make them stand out.

This would be a filter for categories. Totally doable.

Yes, you can use hyperlinks to link them but you can't use like a summary block to do that. It would manually be created but totally doable! :)
Is there a way to prevent image auto cropping for product page images?
I'd recommend uploading all images as the same image ratio so they all show up correct!

You can duplicate a page but no feature to duplicate multiple at the same time.
They really need a better way to add and style captions on the gallery pages. Seems like every feature on SquareSpace is like 85% there.
How do you enable right click so my church friends can download images for free?
It's always enabled automatically. If not go to settings > dev tools > website protection and try checking clickjacking on/off.

Maybe you are in the older version. Do a google serach on Squarespace 7.0 versus 7.1
