In this video, I talk about the clan drama and Day One SE experience. I'm moving on from Destiny 2 to new adventures, I will not be coming back to the game unfortunately... I just don't have the same motivation as I did years ago. I want to branch out and play other games, currently playing the First Descendant. Looking to make content for that game soon enough. Hope you guys understand...

Well, I just happened to get this in my recommended section. So I'll break down things so that I can have a well fundamented opinion:
1. You weren't able to get a world's first raid clear: This was due to the teams you were on, especially because of the clan as well, being elitist and wanting more experience even if you were more than ready to do it.
2. No one in the clan finished the raid: It was THAT hard, so it is totally understandable
3. The "elitists" made their own clan to find people that "matched" what they wanted.
So, dude, first of all, your emotions, your frustration IS valid. I totally understand what if feels not having a team that can help you with raids, I've been doing LFG and sometimes you can have a great team and sometimes the worse players in the world. It is a part of a multiplayer game, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Clans are a way to mitigate these LFG issues, but sometimes it doesn't work out, sometimes people are elitist and expect Datto and Co., sometimes everybody is active but no one wants to raid. With this game being so massive there's always gonna be somebody willing to raid with you. Getting a world's first clear is awesome but not getting it doesn't mean the raid sucks, it doesn't mean that I can't stop enjoying the game. Sure, I'd loved to get the clear, but it didn't happen, still, I managed to get a group and finish the raid. I love the raid! I love raiding, I would love to have a consistent group for this and I'm sure that I'll make a team one day, but until then, I don't let this situations pull me down. If you feel burn out, don't play Destiny, come back when you are ready. But being angry because you couldn't clear a WORLD'S FIRST RAID and also THE HARDEST RAID IN THE GAME doesn't mean that the game is bad, yes your clan sucked but what? is it the end of the world? does the raid stop being good just because you couldn't get a world's first? There's wonderful people trying to find friends to raid with, in reddit, discord, even LFG. Don't relly on clans to do raids, adventure yourself and try it, or make your own clan! There's so many people playing and willing to help!
THIS, I think this guy tried to stick to a toxic clan instead of quickly move on and try other clans and teammates. I think it need to be a balance between good players and fun players, that over time, raid after raid, challenge after challenge, it becomes fun to do stuff together and become friends. Also another factor that I found great on my experience was that once I found a bunch of people I felt comfortable playing, we were willing to teach, and usually carried people through raids, with this we quickly identified cool people that made a fit with us and that they had potential to become really good players (even if they had no idea on how to do a raid, they tried their best, demonstrated interest in learning mechanics and tried difficult roles) and invited them to join us at the end. With this formula we have managed to get 4 day one clears so far.

Forget them nerds. They just played favorites and are very incompetent when it comes to backing it up. Treat yourself with more respect and don’t settle for any clan.
I just want to say I totally agree with you, and I know how you feel believe it or not…..
Even though I am still choosing to play destiny, it is arguably still hard for me to get excited about playing sometimes unless there is something actually to do and honestly, I hate the way destiny feels both game wise and community wise. I mean first off before Destiny 2 even was launched. I belong to groups that would later be identified as clans and so my friends they talked me into forming a clan so even though I didn’t really feel like that kind of responsibility, I decided it’s better than flying around from one group to another where I am at the mercy of these power-hungry idiots, who like to use other players as an excuse for their own, like a skill! So when I formed my clan, it was under the pretense that the plan was for people who just wanted to have fun! And at first it was in my opinion a pretty good clan with a good decent amount of people but not a lot of people…. So here’s what happens first off I didn’t put any major rules into the clan because I felt like it would restrict players in the clan from doing what they enjoy. That being said, though I did put down some ground rules to try to keep things kosher. Which I’m just going to say did not work out because even if you’re just putting down some general rules to follow by people just don’t like being told what to do even if you’re very polite and nice about it. Anyway, sometime later, I met some parrot players who I’m not gonna name. Both of them join my clan in with them they brought a large amount of people with them which for the first time I clan finally was going past the 50% mark. What a Time progressed, I started, realizing that both of them knew each other, and both of them in my opinion had…… issues🤔
I mean, they were bickering like hateful, married, couples! And what I did was try to play the neutral party by trying to calm them down with some motivational phrases but instead, they both decided to just quit playing destiny, and when they did that, they practically took almost everyone in my clan with them, bringing me down to barely 5 people and even with those five people they almost never play destiny, so I was all alone. Feeling like I could never love again I continue playing destiny begrudgingly until I met more people and they help me build a clan back up but like before two members ended up bickering like a couple and again I started losing players didn’t help also that there was a lot of TH-camrs who were saying that this game is garbage….and God forbid anyone has their own opinions about games!!!…sigh😔 which eventually made me design my first rule, and that is no more kids!… which sucks because I’m pretty sure large majority of the game is played by kids!🤣🤣
Anyway, now I got some people who are playing destiny and are in my clan but I feel like a majority of the time I’m just playing by myself and one other player. And honestly, I blame both Bungie for not really understanding the people who play their games….. and people in general who find video gaming to be cheaper than getting therapy.

Insult to injury. There was a group in my clan that was comprised of 5 players who hadnt played since end of shadow keep beginning of beyond light. And one try hard. They cleared day one witness.
Its not about how much you grind. Its about how well you listen and learn. Yall were prolly trying to be the leader in your runs. Too many chiefs not enough indians is the classic phrase.
