Exactly. I was imagining the events of The Amazing Spider-Man Issue 121, but in the style of the Spectacular Spider-Man series, with my eyes closed, listening to Josh deliver the lines, and it was quite a feeling. It was amazing. Even that is enough to be an experience.
It's what we would've gotten in Season 4 or 5 or even in the exclusive to DVD movies If the show wasn't cancelled!

I’m loving these emotional moments you’re voicing as Spider-Man. Is there any chance you could voiceover Ultimate Peter Parker’s sacrifice/death one day? It’s my favorite death scene in all of comics. Really emotional, and a great last send off to that version of Spider-Man in the comics 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Josh Keaton is a "Spectacular" voice actor of Spider-Man, his voice acting is amazingly spectacular, it really makes me wish there was a season 3 for The Spectacular Spider-Man.

10 years ago, I started reading every issue of Amazing Spider-Man, and from day 1, it was your voice in my head when I read for Peter.
You can’t save everyone Spidy 😢😢. As much as it hurts you can’t. Theirs just some things in this world you just can’t control or change. Don’t become a monster like Goblin. Gwen will always be with you. Even when you can’t see her ❤❤❤❤❤❤. Excellent performance Josh. Really brought a tear to my eye.

I mean he's still the high school age Spider-Man considering he still has the same design in the movie and it's implied that Captain Stacy has already died. So... I just wonder how that conversation went if it happened. I just assume he gives the same speech from Spider-Man: Edge of Time when he finds out that MJ was gonna die that night.

I hope you do more like this and the Uncle Ben one from a few months ago. Maybe even collaborate with other voice actors like Nolan North or Kevin Conroy. I have always figured that if The Spectacular Spider-Man didn't get cancelled, the Green Goblin would've returned, discovered that Peter Parker is Spider-Man and cause the death of Gwen. Thus resulting Peter to isolate himself from the people he loves and not wanting to pursue a relationship with Mary Jane. Not just to protect her, but mainly he would feel like he'd be betraying Gwen if he did.

Josh keaton is the same guy who voiced Young Hercules in Disney's Hercules and in the series. He even had the privilege to voice Electro in Marvel's Spider-Man game.

Yuri Lowenthal is good as Spidey and all, but Josh is not only my favorite VA for both Peter and Spider-Man but I LOVE his take on it, not only because it actually has a Peter Parker feel to it in my opinion, but Josh is also the first Spider-Man VA I heard when I played Edge of Time and watched Spectacular Spider-Man. But Dang it man! Not only did you appear in Across the Spider-Verse as a cameo again, but you got me choked up over this one comic scene again!

Damn. Even I felt the emotions from this. Gwen's death is always heart wrenching. As a fan of Spectacular Spiderman, I just hope Gwen doesn't die because Peter went through a lot in his life especially in his love life. I just can't think of what would happen when this part of the comic happens.

I feel like that was probably what it was leading up to. I do love that version of Gwen, I think she was great, but storywise, it'd make sense as we've seen the fact that Norman survived the last encounter, it's likely he'd return and murder her
