I've always had really bad wrist pain. I tried jumping right into quadrobics and seriously hurt my wrists. Now, almost 3 months later, I started carefully with this tutorial and now I can actually do a quadrobics walk 😭 I am unbelievably proud, no matter how small this achievement may seem to someone else, my joint pain has always limited me

I’m a therian and my friends thought me how to do quadropics. It was so hard for me because I had never done anything like that before, now I can do quads really good, but I really wish I would have seen this tutorial earlier. Thanks for this tutorial, I got a lot better at trotting and sprinting! :3
Ok I just want to say that I have mad respect for you guys. I never understood Therians and always thought the whole concept was weird until I did some research and found out how amazing you guys actually are and how I actually fit into the community as well. The fact that you guys can actually do this sort of stuff is incredible. I'm trying to learn quads and it is very difficult, so seeing you guys do it with ease is awesome and I can't wait to get there too.

This is a great tutorial!! I just have one small addition/correction, which a LOT of people get wrong. Cantering ≠ galloping/running, they're different gaits. Quadrobics stems from equestrian sports, so quadrobics gaits are actually just horse gaits! The difference is: 2🐾🐾3 / 3🐾🐾2 1🐾🐾2/ 2🐾🐾1

I started using the claw like hand position that you use and it helps so much. Went from barely being able to walk on carpet to easily walking on hardwood floor! Big motivator!

Just tried the walk for the first time, I cannot describe the pure happiness and excitement I felt while doing it, even if I can’t quite place the reason!
I just realized I used to do this when I was younger without even knowing what it was. I used to run around and jump on all 4s and positioned my hand in this animal like structure. I also placed things in front of me and practiced jumping over them like an animal. Now I'm watching this after finding what a Therian was and I'm awestruck!

Yooo this helped out a lot! In a little under a week I have managed to become comfortable with walking and trotting (more so walking) now I’m working on jumping and sprinting! I’m also going back to fix the little positions I got wrong (recording yourself do quads is a great way to find mishaps and mistakes!)🥳

I did an easy quad walk yesterday and I tried running but I’m absolutely HORRIBLE at it 😅 so when I watched you vid for the second time my shoulders hurt which means I should practice more often. I Have a really bad problem. I dont have any space to practice on house. And I cant go to the park because my mom is gonna say "why? and why do you want to use your masks and tails?"
Just say that you want to go for a walk and relax, bring your gear in a backpack, if she asks what is there, just say that you put your phone there, so it will not fall from your pocket and break. :) Also, gear isn't necessary!
I am learning so much from you. I learned the walk now I’m learning to jump. I trained my legs by doing like a little train up warm-up for the jump and now I can bring up my legs when I jump.
Since I have joint issues(fibromyalgia etc) it’s been hard for me to do quadrobics and I thought I’d have to give up completely on trying but this tutorial helped me so much!
Me realizing that when I was little I was running around on all fours and acting like some animal because it felt weirdly good, it wasn’t all just play.

hey, as a beginner therian (I awakened yesterday) whenever I’m doing quads or even a a walk I can only take 2 steps before falling down. I know people say “practice “ or “it takes time” I’m not sure if I’m doing it right or it’s not supposed to tire me. The most steps I have token doing quads is 2 steps. Is this supposed to feel tiring to the point you collapse? I’m really upset.
@@crystalart9536 I have trouble with quads, and it hurts my neck so I have to look down instead of forward. Try bending your knees while doing quads, and move your legs farther back.
@@crystalart9536For me I do not get tired that easy, but I do play sports. I think that’s pretty normal if you have never worked out the muscles used for quads, and it should get easier over time. I would maybe try working out, such as curling weights or something with upper body strength (arms) and legs. Also only being able to go about two steps is normal, at least for me. I can barely do three, and I can’t trot or run. It’s also good to note some people get the hang of it faster, and that it can take more than a month to either build up muscles so you don’t get tired and also get better at quads. I recommend to stretch before and after you practice (like in the video), start on a surface where you can’t fall and hurt yourself( I heard it’s easy on a trampoline), maybe work out, and keep practicing without overworking yourself.

I’m sure even if you are skinny or not, any body type can do this! Just try your best and take breaks when needed! You’ll learn and get there in the end!

Lucky... when I started, my right leg was sore for 3 weeks lol. Kinda limited the amount of time and pressure of it since it would ruin my balance

I did an easy quad walk yesterday and I tried running but I’m absolutely HORRIBLE at it 😅 so when I watched you vid for the second time my shoulders hurt which means I should practice more often. I’m probably going to rewatch the vid once every free day I have so I can get better :)

I Have a really bad problem. I dont have any space to practice on house. And I cant go to the park because my mom is gonna say "why? and why do you want to use your masks and tails?"
You don’t have to wear or have gear!
Do you have a backyard?
Just say that you want to go for a walk and relax, bring your gear in a backpack, if she asks what is there, just say that you put your phone there, so it will not fall from your pocket and break. :) Also, gear isn't necessary!

I am learning so much from you. I learned the walk now I’m learning to jump. I trained my legs by doing like a little train up warm-up for the jump and now I can bring up my legs when I jump.

Since I have joint issues(fibromyalgia etc) it’s been hard for me to do quadrobics and I thought I’d have to give up completely on trying but this tutorial helped me so much!

@@RubyIsntReal7 I have tried that, I don’t have a trampoline, but I use a very soft/firm pillow. It’s just hard for me to do quads now because I don’t have much free time.

You should try to learn how to do a safety roll. Look it up on youtube. It's a lot safer than taking the fall directly on your shoulders.

I already knew a little about all the forms, but I didn't really get the hang of any of them, SO HELPFUL
hey, as a beginner therian (I awakened yesterday) whenever I’m doing quads or even a a walk I can only take 2 steps before falling down. I know people say “practice “ or “it takes time” I’m not sure if I’m doing it right or it’s not supposed to tire me. The most steps I have token doing quads is 2 steps. Is this supposed to feel tiring to the point you collapse? I’m really upset.
@@crystalart9536 I have trouble with quads, and it hurts my neck so I have to look down instead of forward. Try bending your knees while doing quads, and move your legs farther back.
@@crystalart9536For me I do not get tired that easy, but I do play sports. I think that’s pretty normal if you have never worked out the muscles used for quads, and it should get easier over time. I would maybe try working out, such as curling weights or something with upper body strength (arms) and legs. Also only being able to go about two steps is normal, at least for me. I can barely do three, and I can’t trot or run.
It’s also good to note some people get the hang of it faster, and that it can take more than a month to either build up muscles so you don’t get tired and also get better at quads.
I recommend to stretch before and after you practice (like in the video), start on a surface where you can’t fall and hurt yourself( I heard it’s easy on a trampoline), maybe work out, and keep practicing without overworking yourself.

Does it hurt when you land on your knuckles and can any size people do this because my mother say only skinny people can do this jump but I'm little fat on the stomach and that's it but I didn't believe her at all because I'm thinking that any size people can do this but I want to know if she's right or wrong
It will hurt but after some weeks or months it will stop hurting you.
yeah no she's just shaming you, just because you have a little bit of fat in your stomach doesn't change the fact you can do this
I’m sure even if you are skinny or not, any body type can do this! Just try your best and take breaks when needed! You’ll learn and get there in the end!
