I suspect the rad chicken and rad rabbit are a nod to Skyrim. Both chickens and rabbits are part of the Skyrim base game and have the same drops, while the DLC creatures were added to Fallout 4 later. Both creatures have a special place in Skyrim, as chickens are nonhostile NPCs that can get you in trouble for killing them, while rabbits have a stat under “Combat” for how many you’ve slaughtered. Or what about... raddit?!
That works too.
I’m unsure of whether or not Nate’s done this before, but imo I think he should include Oswald The Outrageous’ sad story in his next Fallout 4: five tragic tales you may have missed
There should be a mod that adds Nate as a follower and he gives you random facts all the time.
3:28 you lit that truck up
A hidden trophy/achievement for cooking a rabbit leg would have been cool
Funny thing, I ran into a Rad Rabbit by accident. Literally. I was fighting some Trappers on Far Harbor (power armor/melee build. Atom's Judgment and T-45) and mid-fight i was sprinting to close distance with a trapper, but pain train hit something about halfway to him. One dead trapper later, i noticed i still had one enemy blip on my compass and followed it, only to find a Rad Rabbit sitting behind a tree. I had hit the little guy with pain train earlier.
Theres a young yao gai in a cave across from the junkyard sw of diomond city
Had to make sure someone else saw that lol
These creatures are rare. But they ain't surviving an AK400.
Lol
In my opinion, the mirelurk spawn, like bees,if you will; grow to be mirelurk queens. That's why they are so rare.
I actually happened to find the mirelurk spawn in the wild I think and I thought “that’s weird they have a different name” so that’s cool that I happened to find it if I remember correctly
I had fought a irradiated Yau gui today, and I didn't even think it was rare untill now
They missed an opportunity with those rabbits, make it green and glowing you got Buck O'Hare!
Your making me want to play fallout all over again.
9:26 Now I'm confused, out of my 97 hours of playing, I've fought one. How? I'm not bragging, just confused.
I think they put them in after video was made. Thought I fought one too
@@xon662 only the great and powerful Bethesda knows.
Lore Theory
Chances are the mirelurk spawns are a growth link between adult mirelurks and mirelurk hatchlings and the growth time is so fast u dont see them often. Many animals in our own universe have similar growth habbits so childhood n adulthood are usually all u see
I've come across Young Yao Guis O.o only on my PS4 though. They were smaller than the regular ones by about 1/3 to 1/2.
The only reason I knew about the rad chickens and rad rabbits is because they appear in VATS
There are so many creatures I haven't seen much of
I ran into those rad rabbits today and instantly killed them, then thought, these guys are pretty rare. I immediately expected them to be covered in one of these videos. Turns out I was right
