I was walking along, minding my business, when under that orange-coloured sky... _FLASH! BAM! ALAKAZAM!_ I was brutally torn apart by an extremely rare pack of early-game ferals, led by a Gangrenous Glowing One, all while at the tender age of Level 3, strolling past Drumlin Diner.
A confidence stat for NPCs?! This game's been out how long now... this video itself is 4 years old... and I'm just now learning about the confidence stat! You really are Epic, Nate.
Nate with the amount of times you say "Avoid or run away from these things" makes me believe that you *don't* kill everything you come across in FO4 like an unstoppable force of nature. (Your the Sole Survivor, you don't have to run away from sh*t, especially at level 50 and above.)
I am the Sole Survivor BECAUSE I run away. I've killed many really mean/tough targets because I kept the range long enough that the target couldn't find me. Sniper shoots, get surprise bonus damage points (x3.5) and steps behind cover while they look everywhere trying to find who is shooting at them. The higher my level and the more capable my character, and his weapons, and armor are, the less interesting I find the game. (Playing the game almost daily for 7 years may have something to do with that.) I dislike Survival difficulty primarily for the constant requirements to eat, drink, sleep, and medicate. Also, the fact that destroyed enemies take forever to respawn is unappealing to me, so I'm play at very hard difficulty and create a new character when my current character reaches between levels 60-75. My weapons and armor are those I took from dead enemies or find with other loot. I'm playing vanilla and no mods.
Keep levelling up then child at lvl 91 there’s legendary chameleon deathclaws or try your luck with a legendary fog crawler variant. Hell just VS a stealth assaultron with a head laser and you’ll shit your pants and run.
I live 30 minutes from mount desert island, which is the island bar harbor is on. It's completely illegal to hunt deer on MDI, and so they do not fear humans. Maybe Bethesda found that out and that's why the radstags in far harbor are so aggressive.
The only one of these I haven't encountered was the Quantum Tank Bot. I had a playthrough of FO4 on Hard where i made it a point to try and discover every discoverable location and explore it. Gained loads of XP and loot in the process.
My solution for the mythic deathclaw I encountered around level 30 at Starlight was a fatman, power armour, and staying as far as possible. I had to kill it since it was my Mercer Safehouse location
Another option for the Quantum Tankbots is if you max out the Penetration perk (so that cover no longer affects your accuracy in VATS) and you can (and have) at least 2 Criticals banked, you can use VATS to target their Fusion Cores from literally *any direction* and then use a banked crit to guarantee a critical hit to the Fusion Core even if the Tankbot is facing you, and if the one crit wasn't enough, spend a second crit to do the same thing to ensure that the Fusion Core becomes crippled, if this happens their Fusion Cores will explode and the Tankbot will die instantly, thus saving you the effort and danger of dealing with it the "old fashioned way". This tactic also works against normal Sentry Bots as well, as well as enemies wearing Power Armor (and in the case of the latter, if they survive the Fusion Core detonation, they will exit their Power Armor, thus making the enemy easier to kill in the process, and then once the enemies in the area are dead, you'll have a new Power Armor frame to claim for your own in addition to whatever other loot you might find).
My first encounter with a mythic deathclaw was at Far Harbor, at level 50, while I was dealing with a Fog Crawler, the only good thing to come out of that fight was when the 2 creatures fought, felt like Godzilla.
Yo I looked up Strontium90 because I was curious. Turns out it's used in any types of medicines-- so no wonder Nuka Cola Quantum was so valued and such a big hit! They must have marketed it to have almost medicinal properties!
6:39 omfg this makes sense now, I recently started a very hard run and ran into one and literally spent about 2 hours dieing before I just said screw it and left it alone.
Another fantastic episode! But good luck catching me in your next video... I’m fast, and I guarantee you that if I see EpicNate after me I’ll cheat...hands down no doubts... TGM! Your the best dude! If I was 30 years younger I’d be your biggest fanboy but since I’m almost 50 I’ll say that I live for your Skyrim content the most and while I like F4 too it just can’t compare IMO to that piece of history. Thanks for all you do and the time you invest. This is what TH-cam is all about. Thank You!
I ran into a mythic deathclaw at level 79 on survival while going through the glowing sea, made quick work out of him with overseers guardian and jet though
There are some things you can do to help with that. Up to and including loading the TTW mod. Lots of help and how-to guides with various solutions out there. Of course, Fallout 3 without any crash fixes or stability mods was a crash-fest even on XP. :) Luckily on my current win10 system all I had to do was an 'ini' file change and it worked well enough for me to get my usual mods loaded. But I've had other systems that were not so easy.
I want to find some of these “bugs” people keep saying are so prevalent in Fallout 4. Maybe I should play with mods more to find them. Also nothing is very dangerous in this game if you carry a fully ungraded Gauss rifle with some energy damage. Nothing seems to be difficult for me with that thing even on the highest difficulties.
Can't remember if you already covered them but if not you should give the Enraged Fogcrawler a look. Their damage resistance is quite high to say the least.

_FLASH! BAM! ALAKAZAM!_
I was brutally torn apart by an extremely rare pack of early-game ferals, led by a Gangrenous Glowing One, all while at the tender age of Level 3, strolling past Drumlin Diner.
You still haven't featured anything I haven't found but the content remains top tier.
Same. Which means if played way too much fallout4.
@@dororo3118 It's not just FO4 it's pretty much every game in the elder scrolls and fallout series.
A confidence stat for NPCs?! This game's been out how long now... this video itself is 4 years old... and I'm just now learning about the confidence stat! You really are Epic, Nate.
"Deathclaws are feared by low level players" me (with a game nodded beyond reason) well yes but actually no
Love these video series! Please don’t stop for another 5 years.
Dayuuuum, need to go there with a black jack (look it up) and put some fear into those punk ass biatch's.
Can you do a Top 10 Weakest Enemies for Skyrim/Fallout?
You can also rarely catch a mythic deathclaw from the deathclaw cage at any level
Thank you for high quality content
The only one of these I haven't encountered was the Quantum Tank Bot. I had a playthrough of FO4 on Hard where i made it a point to try and discover every discoverable location and explore it. Gained loads of XP and loot in the process.
Nate your vocabulary will turn into only Fallout 4 and Murdered to death if this continues.
My solution for the mythic deathclaw I encountered around level 30 at Starlight was a fatman, power armour, and staying as far as possible. I had to kill it since it was my Mercer Safehouse location
i only see a glowing yao gai and caught a glowing Deathclaw in the entire game.
Or just get one point into the robotics perk, rush up to it, hack it, shut it down, and shoot its helpless butt
It's interesting how much more common the stronger variants of enemies spawn at very high levels (somewhere around 286 right now).
My first encounter with a mythic deathclaw was at Far Harbor, at level 50, while I was dealing with a Fog Crawler, the only good thing to come out of that fight was when the 2 creatures fought, felt like Godzilla.
Epic Nate, are you going do a Fallout 4 modlist like your Making Skyrim next-gen list?
really love the little cartoon DEATHCLAW that appeared at 1:16
:)

I don't think it's youtube......
Yo I looked up Strontium90 because I was curious. Turns out it's used in any types of medicines-- so no wonder Nuka Cola Quantum was so valued and such a big hit! They must have marketed it to have almost medicinal properties!
While I was playing Fallout 76 I found not 1 not 2 but 3 devolved radstags inside of some tents that were lined up. I had never seen them before then.
Christopher Estabrooks I think they were lower leveled in the new game because they were easily taken down with low level melee weapons
Thank You!
I had that mythic deathclaw thing happen to me. On my first playthrough it was like wondering into quarry junction with level one gear
I know one thing for sure that's not rare, Nate reaching 500k by the 4th of July
I ran into a mythic deathclaw at level 79 on survival while going through the glowing sea, made quick work out of him with overseers guardian and jet though
Sounds kinda weird but your voice always makes me so happy keep up the great work I love your videos
Beginning of every video "Nate here" me " Hi Nate" every single time 😂
I need to play Fallout 3 again because I do NOT remember Nukalurks in it at all.
I want to play this game again too. There were so many places that I didn’t visit.
Albino deathclaws and radscorpions in the 'broken steel' DLC too.
It's a shame that it crashes a lot on windows 10
There are some things you can do to help with that. Up to and including loading the TTW mod. Lots of help and how-to guides with various solutions out there.
Of course, Fallout 3 without any crash fixes or stability mods was a crash-fest even on XP. :)
Luckily on my current win10 system all I had to do was an 'ini' file change and it worked well enough for me to get my usual mods loaded. But I've had other systems that were not so easy.
I didn't till he mentioned it
First time I saw a death claw I was like satan? Is that you?
I want to find some of these “bugs” people keep saying are so prevalent in Fallout 4. Maybe I should play with mods more to find them. Also nothing is very dangerous in this game if you carry a fully ungraded Gauss rifle with some energy damage. Nothing seems to be difficult for me with that thing even on the highest difficulties.
I subscribed because I still love fallout 4 and most TH-camrs don’t play it anymore
The Simonov PTRS-41 (mod xD) + 20mm rounds = One-Shot Mythic Deathclaw :P
And thats why i didnt use mods.
You can overcome the worst of enemy's with a few things, power armor (optional), a gatling laser (works best), the three drugs jet, psycho, and med-x.
2:53 - why is that deathclaw kinda cute?
😂😂
I remember seeing a single mythic deathclaw in Fallout 76. That's the first and only time I've ever seen one
Didnt know confidence was a thing.. but I did notice the didnt behavioural patterns
Can't remember if you already covered them but if not you should give the Enraged Fogcrawler a look. Their damage resistance is quite high to say the least.
the only thing that even gives me a slight challenge...
Im pretty sure most of these are level based
If you manage to get on top of one of the buildings in the bottling plant Nukalurks will run away. Though Nukalurk Hunters don't, they just try and shoot you with their poison spit.
I killed a Legendary Mythic Deathclaw with one shot from my Instigating Gauss Rifle just yesterday...
Aw man, I love Fallout 4. I got like 2000 hours in and said I wouldn't go back until I could play on PC, but I'm tempted.
Keep the game feeling "fresh" by palette swaps. What is this, the 1980s?
Heh. Now I'm imagining a variant of the sole survivor that is identical, but green, like Luigi in the early Mario bros. Games.
I just need you to know I truly love your channel your voice just helps me get my mind off everything and let's me get some sleep ❤❤❤❤❤
Oh deer that's a lot of Rad animals
I'll leave
