Here's a video of a typical day in the life of a software startup founder that manages software engineers and other team members in my startup.
This is my first day in the life type of video, it was fun shooting and creating this content. I am looking forward to creating more of these in the future.

Recommendation to 10x your setup experience - buy a remote keyboard! if you want to have your laptop standing, having a keyboard helps a lot - otherwise the posture for your palms is no bueno. Good luck!

I believe the number 1 tip would be to have a skill that can add value to the startup you are interested in being hire at.
(let's take my startup for example, I get lots of emails from people wanting to work with me but the issue is that they are not telling me exactly what they can add to the platform that isn't already there! So, if you are interested in a particular startup, I would advise that you spend some time checking them out to see what they might be lacking, so that when you send an email to them - you can bring that pain point to life and they instantly know what value you can bring to the table)
But the advise above is if you "interested in a particular startup".
If you want to get hired to startups generally, I have some points in my last video that might help you see how we (startup founders) think when hiring, this might help.

Honestly, I just park my bike “with faith” everyday 😂 to be fair, Canary Wharf is known to have actual security guys walk around every hour, so it’s kinda “safe”, if I wasn’t working in Canary Wharf, I’m not sure I would feel comfy just parking my bike anywhere! 😅

Jokes aside, I swear I bought that shoe solely for my evening walks as it’s so soft and I can do 2 hours walk without feeling it but then again - it’s so good looking that I ended up making it my main gym shoe 😂 but I always have to take it off in the gym and workout in socks as I heard it’s not good to workout in these especially when lifting! (I also triggered the gym heads, I can’t catch a break)

Oh yes I have heard of it and it’s spot on because anytime I personally put over 10k hours on a new craft, skill or business - it becomes second nature to me and know the ins and outs. (But it only works for me on things I find interesting 😂, for example I’ve attempted to learn how to code multiple times but always give up because I don’t find it “interesting” to me, I prefer the other side of tech like digital marketing, customer acquisition, product development, design etc. )

I use Canva pro for all my designs. I don’t have a template, I sometimes turn some designs into templates and use them over and over again with different content.
That being said, on Canva Pro - you can find some amazing templates that you can personalise into your own within minutes!
