That whole speech at the end of the video was INSPIRING. And it actually tells us a lot more about you and your vision than any other of your videos. I don’t have funds as I am myself a boostrapped startup founder but it made me want to invest 😢 Keep up the hard work !
Challenge of the week goes hand in glove with the comment that a founders journey is like an iceberg, there’s so much that you’re doing that’s kind of behind the scenes, all the little foundation pieces that will ultimately prop up the business, someone needs to do it. I’m in the UK, else would love to help, I’m not a strong enough dev to lead a startup engineering position, but I think today, what you need is like a head of operations. Someone that you can offload some of that daily admin stuff to. I suggest that you consider hiring a local ops person, or ideally getting them to take equity rather than salary for now. Yeah, of course you want them to be invested in your idea, but I think you would also benefit from just being able to just unburden yourself from some of the nitty gritty, let you put a little more focus into the product, the vision and the funding. Anyway, another cracking insight into the founders journey, already waiting for that next one.
Thank you for sharing your insights @onemoredavid8763 . My current structure is a combination of equity and salary, but more equity than salary, because I also want to incentivize my team to do their best work and take their role seriously.
