Odd layout…accessing the basement through the garage. Not to mention the stairs leading to a random bonus room and bedroom. This was a missed opportunity for a grand staircase moment. It was meh.
Good question, I had a similar thought. The builder's agent told me that there was actually a demand for such a layout which made the basement into a separate unit for guests.

The yard sucks where is the pool or entertaining space.
If I ever.. own a house like this. I'm definitely not getting married. So someone can take half my stuff.. NOPE!!

Didn’t like this home due to strange lay out as well as many rooms didn’t have windows. Have seen some fantastic ones in that area.
