Videos like these on TH-cam should be taken down. They're so trash. You know you played this like 40 times and you got one good clip of some crap player cuz you know this s*** wouldn't run nowadays. That's a total brick hand. It's terrible. You could instantly get negated or stormed feather duster and then it's over. You got no hand 😹🤣
Add chain energy to any despia deck & with masquerade as well it's a living hell for your opponent to try to play 😂

It's an easy mistake to make but remember kids: always *SET* multiple copies of Chain Energy, _THEN_ activate them so that you don't get taxed too.

@@jeremygodoy18 Good luck drawing it when you can only have one copy in the deck and some people don't even bother with it. What's more likely, your opponent having Spell/Trap removal, or something to counter the 99% of the game that's broken monster effects?
Speaking of which, summon White Stone of Ancients, make Linkuriboh, Summon Jet Dragon from deck, bam, backrow is invincible until it's dealt with because it's only the summon and bouncing effects that require Blue-Eyes on field/in GY.

@RedDragonForce2: Are you serious with that comment, not every one is a win addict. it was either the opponent don't attack and still lose next turn, or he surrender and bye bye mission reward for everything he played, and also the reason why he attack marshmellon was maybe because it was is last duel for the day, and want to get the mission done. Truth that the golden pass will sometimes go up with a surrender but that only happen if you play an insane amount of card in a duel, and in that same situation loseing without surrender would increase your golden pass even more, but still a less amount compare to winning.

Tax dragon
Depends on how you look at it.
- Masquerade is definitely one of the best but there are things the other cards can do that Masquerade can't.
- Gravity Dragon is probably the most "at home" of the lot since its effect is nearly identical but your opponent has to pay less and it's much harder to summon by comparison. Yet it also has a Trunade effect that your opponent can't respond to and is stronger stat-wise.
- Flare Metal Dragon can't be paired with Chicken Game to tempt your opponent to pay even more LP and because it inflicts damage rather than forcing your opponent to pay a cost beforehand it's more likely to be removed from the field before the damage can be done, but you can pull off an FTK with it and it's still the easiest one to summon aside from Masquerade itself.
- And in the case of Chain Energy, it may be the worst of the lot since you have to hard draw it and pay LP to activate your cards too, but it's worth noting that *because* it's a Spell card your opponent is less likely to have an out for it since the majority of the game is focused on monster effects, and you also have to keep in mind that the cost is for effects *_AND_* cards played from the hand, that means it costs 1k to activate things like hand traps and other cards that reveal themselves in hand before being played rather than 500.

The deck in the video was U.A. a budget rogue deck from early pendulum era (almost a decade ago) that got some mild support years later.
Even a rogue deck from 2018 would eat this field alive.
It only makes you pay for playing cards from the hand.
Well any two level 4s can go into the extra deck and blow up the entire field (likely with Zeus).
Even then it is becoming increasinly common to just summon things from the deck or graveyard (hand barely beating deck for common to summon for) so no costs.
It is in no way a middle finger to modern or fast-paced meta (especially extra deck spam. There is literally no better way to deal with that card than with the extra deck). A guy playing the equivilant of a playground Yugioh deck, just didn't draw the generic cards he needed to break a gimmicky board that low-power decks often rely on.

This was my strategy when Duel Generation was still active. Nothing but graydles and pendulums and special summons. One guy played over 20 cards with an archetype deck on his first turn. I was sooo salty that I didn't go first. He lost when I used night dragolich on his tuners and xz monsters. Also, I used lower level limit area B so basically most of my deck was level 3 or lower monsters. Absolutely comical.
This is the reason why Chain Energy is one of my favourite spell cards in the game. I can just let my opponent take damage the more they play cards from their hands. Serves them right for constantly flooding the board with unnecessary plays.

i use them since years lol though he made a play mistake ;P first set the 3 chains and then activating them on the field you lose lp when you activate from hand not from field ;D

I remember reading the effect of Chain Energy when I was a kid and thinking I'd never use a card like this because it would absolutely backfire no matter what deck I build for it. That's why you have 3 dark bribes and 3 of whatever applicable Solemns.
Yeah if you can draw those cards in early turns but it's not good for deck synergy for some cards if you counted the META decks then it's unlikely they don't include feather duster because it's no use for synergies

Chain Energy is one of my all-time favorite cards. The pain and misery it can bring makes it so much fun. It's even funner when it ends a game because they can't play a card without losing.

"Dark room" can't be chained with "chain-energy", because that 500 points are declared as costs and not as demage.

I know the salt gets real when people see you unexpectedly with chain energy cards. I play those in paper version besides online and the results are always hilarious every time. Skull invitation is another one for nickel and dime hits on the life points.
I remember once putting down a chain energy then having burning land and toll. They attacked my face down monster which turned out to be marshmallon. Then I revealed bad reaction to simochi and I popped out a soul taker. Their next turn was their last

I'm just new here and just got duel someone with chain energy for first time. And then it hit me . . . This is exactly what I need for those annoying players who take many detour and spend more than 10mins. In just one turn. . . It save time . . . 🎉🎉🎉
If i remember correctly, I think there are some cards that instead of taking the burn damage, you gain life instead

When Tagforce 2 Is released and the new character is viper ( I called Him Snakeman) I know in the anime He introduce a Energy band that must wear by the player and when they received damage during duel the band will gives them electric shock now , knowing that snakeman is in the game , I did a deck similar with that one ,but with addition such as Toll and Some monsters and that Boost up my LP now I completed the deck and I duel Snakeman Oh boy! I see his struggles that Sometimes I burst into laugher when He loses Life points by just paying to attack me because of Toll

I actually wanted to try an idea one day of Fusion Summoning 3 Masqurade's (Branded's Taxes Dragon) along with 3 Chain Energies just to see how one can tolerate being burned to a crisp.

He saw the player take marshmallon and yet still attacked, honestly it baffles me. It's like the player that puts harpies feather duster in their opponents hand turn 1 and sets 3 jackpot 7, the stupidity is beyond reason.
with 1000 lp left and 2 chain energy on the field they can't play any cards from hand. They didn't have the lp to pay for cost after that final summon. It was either attack, surrender or just keep ending turn
