I’ve shot many micro-9’s over the past few years but I shot a P365 for the first time a couple weeks ago. It occurred to me just how much Sig changed the industry with the P365. Ever since then, we’ve seen the full spectrum of manufacturers producing slim, 10+1 (or higher) capacity micro-9mm’s that are easily concealable, to manufacturers realizing “Hey wait a minute… We can basically make modular, full-size, optics-ready duty handguns that are only about 1 inch thick using the P365 formula!” Pretty remarkable. I’m surprised to see Glock letting this opportunity pass them by. They should really be doing more to expand the 43X & 48 models- give them a modular serialized chassis, improve their OEM magazine design to accommodate higher capacity, etc. Can’t rest on your laurels for too long in this industry. @@PreservationOfLiberty Technically it's Smith&Wesson that changed the industry with the shield. Yeah it's true that sig added more rounds but Smith&Wesson are the one's that created the modern micro pistol.
@@Shenmue06 true, Smith & Wesson did a fantastic job of downsizing the 9mm into something that was slim, reliable, & easily concealable. However the Shield was still at its core a downsized single-stack. Sig figuring out a way to overcome the restrictions on capacity by engineering a hybrid style magazine was what really moved the industry into a whole new direction. That, combined with a modular serialized chassis that could be removed from a micro-size frame & installed into a full-size frame were the two things that really set the standard for most of the new designs we’re seeing manufacturers coming up with now. Everyone is copying it (for good reason). I’m saying this as someone who doesn’t even own a single Sig Sauer firearm. I just appreciate the innovation for what it is.
Am i the only person who doesnt care that guns like the 43x are only 10 rounds? I like how its lighter weight and ill never use 10 rounds in self defense
@PreservationOfLiberty I carried the p365 for 2 years and in my option it's one of the worst micro options on the market. The trigger reach is extremely short and there's zero room for your supporting thumb on the side of the frame. The trigger is mushy and complete garbage. it's a lot snappier than the shield and g43. You would have to be an insanely good shooter to be accurate with the p365 past 10 yard's. People that only own the p365 are going to believe that it's good because they haven't experienced the other options. The shield plus is a far better option. The micro option from kimber is also far better than the p365. Sig did a horrible job with the frame layout which is why so many people immediately replace it. The trigger in the p365 is just as bad as a glock trigger if not worse. I couldn't believe how mushy the trigger was and the reset felt slow as it moved your finger forward. I don't think that anyone should buy the sig p365 or the glock 43x. The glock 43x is single stack and people have issues with the aftermarket 15 round magazine's. In my opinion people should buy the optics ready m&p shield plus or the micro option from kimber if they want something that actually fits their hands and has a decent trigger. I absolutely hate the p365 with a passion 😂. I don't care about the removable frames. I want a good frame from the factory! The frames on the p365 are super cheap, thin and they scratch easily. Even the texturing on the frame doesn't last very long. The shield plus has an awesome frame and texturing from the factory so there's no need to replace it.
@seanwhitman4365 I'm pretty sure that you're the only person lol. 99% of people want more rounds. You're going to wish that you had those 5 extra rounds if you're fighting multiple people. There's a small chance that you'll need more than 10/11 but those things does happen! I don't think that anyone should buy the 43x because there's too many other good options. It's a good reliable choice but it's outdated. Chances are that you'll be ok though.
Even the MC9 was never close to the P365 in size. Part of it is probably the law as he was talking about. These are starting to reach the size of what is usually called a compact and sub compact. Higher in capacity but certainly not micro.
@carloschevere9335 you don't need a comped version for this small of a pistol it is useless 😂😂😂 y'all need to stop woth the comp 💩 and actually learn how to shoot.
@driftitlikeyouownit it's not about needing for shooting it's about keeping up with market. There's about 4 companies now making compact sized with built in comps. Those will sell before one without. It's already happening. Those are more likely to sell before models without. Sales are already showing that
The mc9 LS may not fit in a standard mc9 holster, if the holster is open on front end It may fit. My thinking is if I get the mc 9 LS I could swap out the slides with the standard mc 9 and have the best of both.
My experience with Canik is so good that I have 4 pistols and waiting for the next new drop. LOL I have 16 mags because so many of their models can take magazines for many of their pistols. And with sleeves from Bloody Wheels it makes the mags more useful in so many models. Once again another informative video.
Not any more...got tired of tucking my little finger under the bottom of the grip, so I got rid of those & stick to models that I can get a full grip on
@@jeffanon1772 huh? you dont need to tuck your little finger under with 3 Finger Grips. 3 finger grip means your middle, ring, and pinky ALL rest on the grip.
I own a TP9SC Elite. It is my do it all gun. With a 407k it is ready for any challenge presented. Very shootable and easy to conceal. I find the Caniks a little top heavy at times but that might just be me. Definitely guns that are well worth the price and reliable in all situations. I got well beyond 1k rds through mine and no malfunctions.
I have one as well and I love it. Currently looking to finally add a new 9mm. been looking at hellcay pro and x macro. X macro is winning hard but keeping options open. Might have to try and find one of these to rent
agree on it being top heavy. I've put some taylor freelance brass backstraps and mag end caps and extenders and that just balances out my SC Elite perfectly. One of my most precision sub compacts. Love it!
Out of the box, and over a year of owning the MC9, about 2500 rounds...zero failures. It's been a great gun and will continue to take with me for EDC. I do like these options and may look at the LS for a longer sight radius and more gun to help with recoil, which is not much on the MC9.
Thank you very much, I just bought my P365’s big brother, the X Macro TacOps , but I have n Love my Canik Mete SFX n the Rival Dark Side , are my favorite of all !!!! So now after 500 rounds, it’s time for this new slim Canik LS Thanks 💥💥🔫from Commy Ct 🇺🇸
I have a canik tp9 elite sc. Been out for a few years now at least. It’s a subcompact ,came with 2 mags 12&15 , tool kit , cleaning kit , optic plates , different size back straps , cheap holster needs thrown out but maybe better now. WHAT A GUN FOR PRICE & QUALITY . Highly Recommend the tp9 elite sc. holosun 507k fits prefect. Caniks sight is about 1/3 of the cost and probably be just fine.
Thx for sharing. Wasn’t expecting a new Canik till next year. Just learned of a “con” for the original MC9 regarding mag drop. It’s “too small of a frame” (for my hand) to freely drop mag without changing grip. The new MC9L seems to have fixed that “shortcoming”. Will have to try the new one and see how much larger and if it’s worth the investment
A lot of new innovative features on recent releases from Canik, CZ, S&W and Walther. Thanks to these companies, we all win. Meanwhile, over at Glock…..🤣
I would like to see Canik produce the MC9L/MC9LS size pistols in .380ACP. I think that they would be as popular as the LCP Max and the Bodyguard 2.0. Probably with better quality control and less expensive. As an older person with some arthritis in my joints the 9 mm hurts to shoot. Canik, I hope you are reading this.
I carry the original Mc9, and its awesome. And I keep the SFX Rival next to the bed. Canik is more than just a budget friendly option, they punch way above their price point. Oh, and the Rival 18 rd mags fit the Mc9 too. Pretty funny looking, but it works.
Yah i love the 43x but the capacity sucks. If shield arms can make a 15 rounder surely Glock could have designed one. Glock is doing some dumb sh*t these last few 8 or so years
@@fypvideosonline yeah man. I bought the PSA 15 round mags, and they didn’t turn out to be reliable in my experience. 10 rounds isn’t enough for me to feel protected when I’m out in public. I love the 43x form factor, the size of it is perfect for conceal-ability but I do not want to rely on aftermarket magazines for EDC. I’m so glad these new Caniks just dropped. I’ve never owned Canik before but these are an instant buy for sure lol
@@4biddenflow don’t blame you man on tne capacity issue. And my number one moto is stay 100% on your exc. i feel especially strong edc aftermarket magazines and altering oem mags. I once had a hyve mag extension fail and my spring collapsed with the follower st the bottom and my rounds were rolling around freely in the magazine. So i figured i carried it one in the pipe for about two weeks and that’s all i had unbeknownst to me. Had i been in a situation one shot was all i had with a mag that couldn’t load the next round. The mag springs of r the 43 are designed to push fhe weight of six rounds upwards reliably. Not 8, 9, 10 as some extensions. Hyve sis that every once in a while this happens to a mag spring. The best way to avoid this is choose a pistol worth a higher capacity. The opposition will be bringing it to the table now a days. I remember the days when 5 in a j frame as enough. Not anymore. That’s why i sold my 43 and now carry a 19.
@@4biddenflowit’s funny, I’m right now choosing an optics-carry gun and favored the G43X w PSA mags… everything with capacity/reliability to grip angle to meh sights & meh trigger was a huge turn off. _Enter the MC9L_ and all that is …basically solved? Pretty sick IMO. And a couple hundred dollars cheaper by the time everything is ‘fixed’ on the Glock. It’s a no brainer.
I was just about set on the H&K CC9 and then came across this Canik. Now I'm back to doing research. I really like both of these but for carry I might go with the L even though the LS looks to be a slightly better shooter. I'm looking for a replacement for my 43X which I've finally decided is just on the smaller side on what I want to be fully comfortable and confident when it comes to my EDC gun.
I'm no stranger to Canik, had a few pass through my pack of handguns. Kept one as a permanent member until about a month or so ago when I recruited a Canik Mete full sized. Dang I do like it. So much of hand gunning is subjective, but the full sized Mete is larger than I like for EDC. Then voila .. the Mete MC9LS. Got it out of the background check detention yesterday, changed it to a tritium orange front sight and Talon grips. Off to the range. It's everything you said here. I opt for less take up in the trigger so I changed it out for a Freedomsmith that virtually eliminated any take up. My LS performed flawlessly out of the box. (I do a couple patches and lube before we go to the range.) I dislike most everything about the Canik included holsters except that they include one. I have some pistols with dots, some without. This one won't wear one. I think there are pros and cons either way. I view a gun as good for me .. or not good for me. I don't do "affordable" or those kinds of qualifiers. If I really want it, I buy it when I can. If I like it, I keep it and shoot it until I don't. I was a Glock fan for years. Now I have more diversity. My favorite is 10mm's so I would be thrilled if Canik ever builds one. S&W M&P compact 10 with an Apex trigger is really good overall. The OEM trigger is junk. All my pistols wear tritium orange front sights or red dots. They all wear Talon grips. Most have Apex or Freedomsmith triggers. When I handle them, they all have a familiar feel in my hand. I think it's important a pistol feels familiar when I draw it from the holster, regardless of which pistol it is. Thanks for all your good work and assessment of pistols. I value your views and take them to heart before I purchase a new pistol.
Now is definitely the time for gun purchases. My interest has been on the S&W Shield Plus but this one has interfered with that train of thought. Which would serve a person best?
@@Smonkey320I never got the issues people were having. I definitely saw them, mainly on reddit, but I’m at well over 4k rounds through my mc9 since December - still with the stock barrel and recoil spring and it eats everything I throw at it with the standard mags, the 20rd mags do give me some feeding issues although it is pretty rare. Maybe me and the people I know who own one were just the lucky ones without issues 🤷🏻♂️
They will send you a new Recoil spring. Mine ran fine then the lowest coil buckled this is a known problem also some springs were too strong for 115gr ammo.. With in 5 days I had a new one. It runs good now but will wait until I have a few hundred more rounds before I trust fully.
Phenominal review Don. Great detail and I love the fact that you compared them back to the original MC9 (which I have) so it really showed the differences (and the similarities).
Grizzlyman420 what was your issue? Mine jams up with certain defense ammo. But as long as I run fmj or Hornady or federal it runs like a dream. It absolutely hates Winchester defense won't even rack them jams right on the feeder ramp.
@@JimD410 the first one had out of battery issues and the rounds were nose diving so hard on the feed ramp chunks were missing. Canik sent me a brand new mc9 great customer service but had out of battery issues on the second one.
@@JimD410 yeah for sure! I need to shoot this second mc9 more. Had issues with my first couple mags but then ran cheap Tula steel case 50 rounds no issue and some blazer brass 50 rounds no issues. So idk if it was just normal “issues” being a new gun or what. I’ve been carrying a smith&wesson shield plus and I’ve had absolutely no issues Glock, smith&wesson are my go to. I snagged a TISAS 1911A1 and it’s the best 1911 I own. I was so impressed I went and got an all stainless one. I have the newer A1 from TISAS and I put actual GI grips on it. All hammer forged parts no MIM. 350$ and feeds everything unlike my kimber. TISAS quality is insane
Which normal sized pistol mags are as thin as Canic's? Maybe Beretta 92? Would be great if more companies will develop thin pistols for already existing and cheap magazines.
They should have a long slide, with subcompact grip, and comped. The hellcat pro would probably be a perfect gun if it had a subcompact/micro grip length.
Trying to decide between the MC9LS and the Mete SF. Held the MC9LS last week and expect to see the Mete SF in a couple of weeks. Neither the Scheels or gun shop in town have the Mete SF on hand.
Would LOVE to see an ultimate micro 9 comparison with rankings on the Sig 365, Hellcat, FN Reflex, Canik MC9, HK CC9, SW Shield Plus and although a little bigger the Glock 43x!!! Please!!!!!!!😎👍
I have a TP9 Elite. It's a wonderful pistol! Nevertheless, I must now move to a smaller model with the cutouts for a red dot sight. I want to use it for conceal carry, and continue to shoot with both eyes open, while wearing progressive glasses. The TP9 lacks this option for me. Thanks for posting this video!
I love watching guntubers videos… I follow honest outlaw, Hickok 45, SPN firearms… but your channel sir has been shadow banned for me for 3 years This is the first time i run across your videos I just subbed
Man i really hopped on the Canik boat at the wrong time (picked up a tp9 sc just before the mc9 dropped). The mc9 L looks the the perfect carry piece, the ls might smash the nards.
Couldn’t believe it when he said the option with the red dot was only 50 bucks more than the base price without the sight. If that were the case, thats a 80% on the sight, which would make for an insane and no brainer deal. Checked Canik’s website though and its actually 655 with the red dot unfortunately, still not a bad deal though all things considered
The deeper beavertail might convince me to pick one up. I had a SF elite briefly. With small hands the grip was too bulky for me. This model might fix that.
I'm seriously thinking about grabbing an LS. I only have two concerns, I've shot a few Caniks and the triggers were REALLY light. I also loathe ambi slide stops, got rid of a VP9 for that reason. Was always locking the slide with it. Maybe I just need to work on my grip, but I have giant ape hands.
I have SFT and MC9 but both I am selling, main reason is that I am moving from striker to DA/SA system (got Grand Power XCalibur Match mk23 and P1S mk23), They are good pistols but both are very hard to operate in wet/cold conditions, the slide is very slippery, that front/back serrations are very shallow, I hurt my fingers many times while racking the slide...GP serrations are 10x better and generally its another league...
I haven't been excited for a firearm in a couple of years. I think I want one of these. I might wait until after Christmas. The price should drop next year But I wouldn't mind one of these with a red dot.
Very nice...but I'll stick with my Tisas PX9 Carry... similar & also made in Turkey and so much more comfortable when all four fingers fit on the grip...
Great review as always. But I honestly just don’t see the need for these. The MC9 fit a niche…micro. These negate that since printing comes at the grip. But kudos to Canik. As everyone loves options!
@Asidebar Ok have fun having a gigantic grip sticking out underneath your shirt. You might as well open carry because you're definitely not going to be able to hide it. It's going to be just as difficult to hide as a glock 17 because it's the grip length that's actually noticeable while it's underneath your shirt.
@johnpena6771 Yeah a compact grip would have been fantastic. Canik doesn't always make rational decisions unfortunately. For an example they put micro optic cuts on their full size duty options which is ridiculous. They actually believe that people would rather have a tiny micro optic on a duty weapon than to simply buy some suppressor sights lol. They're the only company that does that and a majority of canik owners complain about it. Micro optics belong on micro options not duty options. I wish Canik would stop attempting to be a budget product because it has a lot of potential. The only flaws to the walther pdp is that it has a gigantic slide and it's snappy. If Canik would simply make their frame/grip similar to the pdp, keep the slide smaller than the pdp and add a full size optic cut it would be one of the best options on the market. I also think that they should increase the price a hundred dollars so that they can increase the quality of the parts. Tactical considerations owns a bunch of caniks and he told me in a comment that the parts in the canik are cheaper made than the m&p, glock and CZ. He would know more than the average person because he owns a bunch of caniks and reviews this stuff for a living. Canik is a budget option with a good factory trigger. The internals, the metal, polymer and slide coating are cheaper made. If it didn't have a fantastic factory trigger people wouldn't be buying it. The logical choice would be to simply buy a walther pdp if you want a good factory trigger but people don't want to spend the money. The canik is basically the walther off brand because they copied the walther design. What people don't realize is that you can't buy oem replacement springs for the canik so it's only going to last 5 years if you practice a lot. You have to replace the springs for general maintenance. With the walther pdp, m&p and glock you can buy oem replacement springs.
The importation of the Canik MC9 is a bit more complex. The Canik factory in Florida does make MC 9's and 50 cal. Now this is where it becomes interesting. The MC 9 frames/receivers are imported from Canik Turkey, the slides and barrels are made in Florida. The question is, where are they assembled to get the end product, I think most likely at Century arms to avoid any issues as the frame that constitutes the firearm, already has the importers engraving being Century arms and the country of origin Turkey. Canik USA in Florida can send the slides and barrels to Century as those two parts are unregulated in the USA. The thing is just importing a frame or receiver is pretty much a loop hole to avoid the 75 point ATF rule, because how can you determine points on just a frame or even less determine for what firearm it actually is, I mean it can laterally be for a semi auto type carbine what ever.
@@davids5006 cool…. I couldn’t even get 25 rounds out before mine broke. Canik replaced it with a new one but only after the business i bought it from had to send it in since Canik ignored me constantly. Oh and all the people that needed their recoil springs and barrels replaced with the new feed ramps. If you research it you will know. And no TH-cam reviewer that received a review model had any of these issues. Least not on camera. Again I like the gun but I just don’t trust their name. Are the trigger bars, barrel (besides length), and other internal parts the same as the TP9 or Mete? The sear housing appears to be made of metal instead of polymer on the MC9 which is probably done to reinforce the slimmed down polymer.

They need a comped version or will be left behind. If they made a comped version It would sell easily. Until then ppl looking into the X macro
Sales are already showing that
That MC9LS Looks awesome! Might be time to rehome my MC9
Great video nice canik I like mc9l reminds me of my taurus gx4 about the same size I wouldn't mind having canik mc9l thanks for sharing sootch00

Awesome! Love Canik. When do these hit stores? Not finding it online yet. Thanks
Short barrel with 3 finger grip is the boss
Not any more...got tired of tucking my little finger under the bottom of the grip, so I got rid of those & stick to models that I can get a full grip on
@@jeffanon1772 huh? you dont need to tuck your little finger under with 3 Finger Grips. 3 finger grip means your middle, ring, and pinky ALL rest on the grip.
Yes 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Love it!
@@keithwong7001Nice!
Same here. I've got over 3,000 rounds in my TP9 ELITE SC with zero malfunctions.
Thats my house gun I have a MC9 with Dot for carry.
I have been curious about Canik for a couple of years. I may have to try one.
The mc9 had a ton of reliability issues so I would avoid the mc9 options. The rest of the caniks are good.
And I’ve had the mc9 mete for about a year now and have had no issues. So take that with a grain of salt. Thing runs perfectly.

Good morning from the Helderberg mountains of New York State
I have a canik tp9 elite sc. Been out for a few years now at least. It’s a subcompact ,came with 2 mags 12&15 , tool kit , cleaning kit , optic plates , different size back straps , cheap holster needs thrown out but maybe better now.
WHAT A GUN FOR PRICE & QUALITY . Highly
Recommend the tp9 elite sc. holosun 507k fits prefect. Caniks sight is about 1/3 of the cost and probably be just fine.
I could watch you shoot all day!
Soothing,
Thank you for a very well done review on these new additions to the Canik line of pistols.
Awesome video as always . It’s great how in depth you do your reviews
Given Canik is made in Turkey and the European standard is 9mm for both civilian and military, more than likely won't see any other caliber
@@cevisualsthey could make some just for the American market. They would sell well.
@@BrandonGavin_EDC I agree 100%
I carry the original Mc9, and its awesome. And I keep the SFX Rival next to the bed.
Canik is more than just a budget friendly option, they punch way above their price point.
Oh, and the Rival 18 rd mags fit the Mc9 too. Pretty funny looking, but it works.
I definitely Want One
I own a Glock 43x. The MC9L makes my G43x completely obsolete lmao. I can’t wait to get it
Yah i love the 43x but the capacity sucks. If shield arms can make a 15 rounder surely Glock could have designed one. Glock is doing some dumb sh*t these last few 8 or so years
@@fypvideosonline Psa makes a micro dagger 15 round mag check it out!
I love your channel sootch I never skip a video when I see your video unc 🤟🏾💯🇺🇸

The Trigger!
(I do a couple patches and lube before we go to the range.)
I dislike most everything about the Canik included holsters except that they include one.
Sweet! 🔥🔥🔥
Now is definitely the time for gun purchases. My interest has been on the S&W Shield Plus but this one has interfered with that train of thought. Which would serve a person best?
🦅
Thanks for the video Sootch! Maybe I missed it but could you shed some light on if Canik fixed the reliability issues that some had with the MC9?
@@ZachBrobstMusic I hope they did. The reliability on the mc9 was 🗑️
@@Smonkey320I never got the issues people were having.
Looking forward to getting the new mc9ls
I Had issues with two of my mc9s
Bummed out because I liked the handgun.
@@Grizzlyman420 yeah it seems a lot of them were having the same issue.
I’ve been carrying a smith&wesson
shield plus and I’ve had absolutely no issues

Outstanding !
Which normal sized pistol mags are as thin as Canic's? Maybe Beretta 92? Would be great if more companies will develop thin pistols for already existing and cheap magazines.
I think the LS model should’ve came comped!
Right!
Yes, so many company's are doing it. If they don't i feel that's where they sell short
That will be the next rolling upgrade. Gotta milk each iteration for $$$. Not slamming Canik, it's an industry wide practice that sucks.
Lordy ,Lordy, people will complain no matter what
They should have a long slide, with subcompact grip, and comped. The hellcat pro would probably be a perfect gun if it had a subcompact/micro grip length.
I love mine Don you get a lot for the money they are excellent thanks
Awesome trigger 💯

The beaver tail is everything if a company could get that right it would be over with
The MC9L(S) has a more pronounced Beaver Tail... appears better than my TP9 SC's and even my Mete SFX.

Another great review. I'd love to see you do a review on the Sig P365 X (Rainbow in 9mm) All their rainbow reviews are in .380.
Great video appreciate it
The deeper beavertail might convince me to pick one up. I had a SF elite briefly. With small hands the grip was too bulky for me. This model might fix that.
I have both, the MC is definitely smaller.
@@TheJHMAN1 I loved everything about it but the grip just didn't work for me. I'll have to check these out.
Canik is 🔥🔥🔥
I'm seriously thinking about grabbing an LS. I only have two concerns, I've shot a few Caniks and the triggers were REALLY light. I also loathe ambi slide stops, got rid of a VP9 for that reason. Was always locking the slide with it. Maybe I just need to work on my grip, but I have giant ape hands.
Very well done with your presentation. Question1. Are these new Caniks easier to rack than the TP9 Elite SC???
Did they fix the failure to recoil spring ???
I have SFT and MC9 but both I am selling, main reason is that I am moving from striker to DA/SA system (got Grand Power XCalibur Match mk23 and P1S mk23),
They are good pistols but both are very hard to operate in wet/cold conditions, the slide is very slippery, that front/back serrations are very shallow, I hurt my fingers many times while racking the slide...GP serrations are 10x better and generally its another league...

Very nice...but I'll stick with my Tisas PX9 Carry... similar & also made in Turkey and so much more comfortable when all four fingers fit on the grip...
May as well just carry a full size pistol. It’s not the slide that’s hard to conceal , it’s the grip.
@@Philly1958 it’s also weight and thickness. These slim models weigh so much less
So does the red dot stay on if you're carrying it when you're moving around seeing it has shake awake
@sootch00 another awesome review. I just hope they fixed that return to battery bug from MC9
Great review as always. But I honestly just don’t see the need for these. The MC9 fit a niche…micro. These negate that since printing comes at the grip. But kudos to Canik. As everyone loves options!
Yeah the full size grip on this thing isn't logical at all. It should have been a 15 round compact grip not a 17 round full size.
@@Shenmue06 IT is logical for those like me that want one.
@Asidebar Ok have fun having a gigantic grip sticking out underneath your shirt. You might as well open carry because you're definitely not going to be able to hide it. It's going to be just as difficult to hide as a glock 17 because it's the grip length that's actually noticeable while it's underneath your shirt.
your right they should’ve left it a 15 round magazine which would’ve been perfect fit for me
@johnpena6771 Yeah a compact grip would have been fantastic.
Can you please review the Taurus 22LR TUC versus the Taurus PF 22 Poly LR that you reviewed two years ago? Can each operate cheap ammo?

I sure hope they fixed all the issues with mc9.. that gun made a high point seem reliable
Hmmm. Mine shoots great
@@davids5006 cool…. I couldn’t even get 25 rounds out before mine broke. Canik replaced it with a new one but only after the business i bought it from had to send it in since Canik ignored me constantly. Oh and all the people that needed their recoil springs and barrels replaced with the new feed ramps.
One thing i learned is use these reviews for information not for reliability and credibility opinions. Just because you’ve had a good experience with mc9 doesn’t mean others have and trust me there are tons and tons of people that have had completely different experiences than you. If you research it you will know. And no TH-cam reviewer that received a review model had any of these issues. Least not on camera.
Again I like the gun but I just don’t trust their name. I hope they did their homework for these two models because it was lackluster on the mc9.
@@davids5006 I have an MC9. Have had nothing but problems with it. Sent it back to Canik for gunsmithing. Just got it back. Took it to the range and still had failure to feed and light strikes. With the two new Canik Mc9’s out will they still make the standard Mc9 any more?
Are the trigger bars, barrel (besides length), and other internal parts the same as the TP9 or Mete? The sear housing appears to be made of metal instead of polymer on the MC9 which is probably done to reinforce the slimmed down polymer.
