Hoovie and the other Wichita car TH-camrs are a great example of the “hub and spoke” cross channel appearance and promotion that makes TH-cam channels and TH-camrs thrive
Honestly I think the reason for this is because Tyler is just a good guy. I recently watched a video talking about TH-cam now vs before. Now to become successful people just make groups, one person already being popular, and all of them grow through it. Tyler just saw the talent and wanted to see those people succeed and possibly accident stumbled upon the secret for TH-cam success.

Freddy's videos often have a tendency to appear on TH-cam's trending page. That also makes a HUGE difference. Freddy's style of video is often exactly what TH-cam wants as an automotive front page icon for something that isn't entirely made by a production crew as well. That's how the Pimp My Ride van became so big. Ironically that cost less to do than CarTrek yet provided a much better ROI lol.

I actually started watching Hoovies Garage because of the old range rovers when Tyler and WatchJRGo collaborated. Since that video I got hooked into Hoovies garage and haven't missed a video ever since. Some of the other Wichita channels I watch like the Car Wizard, WatchJRGo and particularly Elliot Alvis all make entertaining content that is always interesting to watch.
It's really heart warming to see the people Hoovie has influenced. I also enjoy watching his work with Tavarish or even that interaction with Uncle Rich. He even inspired me to share my own car misadventures. I'll never see that level of success but I just really enjoy sharing my sometimes very unfortunate experiences.
When I first saw hoovie's TH-cam channel I realized that he has a good heart, and not only that but spreads the prosperity. I aspire to be him if I had the means, meaning blessing people and bringing them together
It speaks to something I have always appreciated in Tyler. He is unabashedly generous and humble. Glad to see David has clearly benefitted from being an early star of Hoovies Garage. His own garage business is booming. And his on camera persona is growing on Hoovie, his own channel and now on CarTrek. I had enjoyed WatchJRGO without realizing it was another spin off from Hoovie.

I still remember that first Hoovie video I saw of some young guy who bought an S class with a blown engine. Seemed interesting so I watched it. Then I saw another one about a Mercedes ML being stolen so I watched that. Here I am now watching every video he puts out and most of the ones from the Wizard.

i really like the different aspects of all the Wichita youtubers. Elliot i really relate to the most recently, family guy, buys things his wife doesn't want him to, does some of his own work and takes it to shops too. he has become one of my favorites, just being relatable. but JRs car buying and flipping is fun, tylers buying obscene things is fun, the wizard for learning new things, euro asian bob with the classics and obscure, jake is an occasional watch i like his taste and he is easy to like in his vids
Mr. And Mrs. Wizard are iconic too! I end up watching their videos, before hoovie's! She's starting to get real comfortable roasting him from behind the camera, and its been fantastic watching them grow!
Just wanted to comment that you guys really changed my life. I decided to buy a 2011 e89 BMW Z4 35is m sport and drive it cross country CA to PA, instead of shipping it for 2k. I bought a ticket for 260 dollars and flew one way where my uncle picked me up in San Diego at 12 Friday sept 17. We then drove to L.A. to pick up my friend who flew out before me on a day's notice Thursday. We bought the car in LA went to Idyllwild at my uncles for a nap, hit Vegas, Denver, and Chicago. We had to cut Pittsburg short for time coming home at 4 am PA time on Tuesday. it's no record nor were we chasing one but the experience was like nothing else and truly worth the cost. thank you to hoovey and everyone else who helps inspire people to belive in themselves. (Being 21 in 2021)

Hoovies Garages was my introduction to car TH-camrs, and he’s still my favorite, though Daddy Doug is a close 2nd. So many great folks doing car stuff; I wish I had more time to to watch.
I got my start from SamCrac. He motivated me to get my channel going, and now I have over 300K subscribers. It's important to always remember we are constantly inspiring new TH-camrs to carry the torch!
When I saw that "Includes paid promotion" I knew Premier Financial was the months sponsor but I didn't expect a 14 minutes ad for Tyler Hoover and the Witchita Car Mafia.
Loved it, now I can watch more of the Mafia. I live in Kansas City and it's been amazing they're all nearby in Witchita of all places. I've learned a lot from them all esp. the Weezard and Ninga.
Velocity Garage just announced that they are creating a Car Ninja channel for Johnnie's videos. Hoovies impact is much wider than just Wichita. Thanks to watching so many of the videos from Hoovie, Wizard, JR and the others (plus OG channels like Doug and Mighty Car Mods), the Algorithm (capital A for sure) brought me other great car channels like Ratarossa, Junkyard Digs, Number 27, Stance Works, Rennch, Built Official, DS3 Shooter and others. I think my car related subscriptions has to number around 50 at this point.
One of the best parts, all of these individuals are people you would want to hang out with in some capacity. I would love to work for the wizard, or Ninja if the opportunity were to arise. I would sell cars for Bob in a heartbeat! All genuinely cool guys.
Hoovie and his possy deserve all the success they are getting and will continue to get. Every business claims to care about their community but few actually exercise it . Respect!
The best vlogs/channels have supporting “characters”. Hoovie does this very well (Wizard, CarNinja, Euronarion Urination Bob. Casey Neistat with the UPS guy, etc. It’s similar to Mr Rogers and the mailman. It’s a great format!
I started with Doug, then Tavarish when he got Doug's Aston. Then hoovie when he sold Tavarish his s class. Then vinwiki when when it autoplayed after one of hoovies videos. Then the wizard since he fixes all of Tyler's cars. It's cool how everything connects.
What makes Hoovie so cool is that he is just a normal guy. He’s not full of himself, he’s kind of like your friend you hung out with in high school that was into cars and funny.
I like Hoovie and Hoovie’s garage… but (had to have one), is it just me or were his older videos better ?? Now it’s buy a car, take it to wizard or ninja have it inspected, pay money, repeat… Back in the day he would get dressed up, do little skits and such (I still remember the rusty lebaron skit, or taking the off road lexus off road, etc) Maybe it’s just me….
the cool thing about TH-cam, at least in the automotive space, is that helping each other grow also makes your space grow so working together is beneficial and to me always nicer to watch.
Elliot Alvis, king of analogies, signer of notaries, and a masterful hostage negotiator (I'm assuming Hoovie had kidnapped Mrs. Alvis, who may or may not be able to drive a manual as of this writing). 😅

If anything Doug monopolized the car review space. No one really cared about watching other TH-camrs do car reviews after Doug started doing them. Credit it to him for getting the jump on that, but Doug hasn't done much of anything for other TH-camrs except take opportunities from them. He's always been too busy with his channel and now C&B to care about anyone else's success.

The best vlogs/channels have supporting “characters”. Hoovie does this very well (Wizard, CarNinja, Euronarion Urination Bob. Casey Neistat with the UPS guy, etc. It’s similar to Mr Rogers and the mailman. It’s a great format!

This was brilliant! Wichita has become the automotive Camelot of TH-cam.
I started with Doug, then Tavarish when he got Doug's Aston. Then hoovie when he sold Tavarish his s class. Then vinwiki when when it autoplayed after one of hoovies videos. Then the wizard since he fixes all of Tyler's cars. It's cool how everything connects.

What makes Hoovie so cool is that he is just a normal guy. He’s not full of himself, he’s kind of like your friend you hung out with in high school that was into cars and funny.

I like Hoovie and Hoovie’s garage… but (had to have one), is it just me or were his older videos better ?? Now it’s buy a car, take it to wizard or ninja have it inspected, pay money, repeat… Back in the day he would get dressed up, do little skits and such (I still remember the rusty lebaron skit, or taking the off road lexus off road, etc) Maybe it’s just me….

the cool thing about TH-cam, at least in the automotive space, is that helping each other grow also makes your space grow so working together is beneficial and to me always nicer to watch.

@@shaveee he doesn't seem to interact with it much but he has mentioned in a few videos he does watch a lot of his fellow channels and of course he was the one that pushed hoovie into making videos in the first place

If anything Doug monopolized the car review space. No one really cared about watching other TH-camrs do car reviews after Doug started doing them. Credit it to him for getting the jump on that, but Doug hasn't done much of anything for other TH-camrs except take opportunities from them. He's always been too busy with his channel and now C&B to care about anyone else's success.
