@@SurajGondkar The moisture in the flower does weird things to the resin, it creates bubbles and stuff. Water and resin doesn't mix very well so things need to be as dry as possible before being encased.

Hey Doug! I've done a dragonfly and it did fine, but the wings were Super delicate on it as well. Mike, may be onto something with the spray lacquer idea, but I would definitely do it in VERY light coats and build them up. ?? Can't wait to see you give it a try!
That came out really nice! Something you might add to the diorama.. is maybe on all the edges add some brass or copper wire to make it look like panes of glass :-) Just a thought
I ordered plexiglass from the same seller.But Yes , it seems a little different to me. It is even cut a little differently. And it does not stick to plexiglass. Thanks Rowan
@@jedrek29tI use a soft plexiglass all the time in my projects... I would have never guessed that it would pull away from resin like that have you tried pulling it away from UV resin?
I think what Esmeralda means is the colourful side is actually the underside of the butterfly. If you were to see one in the wild, you would basically see a white butterfly with a little gold on the wing tips. It's when it lands and folds its wings in the air that you would get to see the colour of the wings. I think most butterflies are like that. At the end of the day, fantastic work! I love this channel.

Probably the most important bit.... Make sure the flowers are completely dried out. So many people I see trying that and failing. Nice work.

I was wondering how a butterfly would take the resin, I have a Monarch I found I wanted to use in a Pyramid like this,
Maybe you could spray laque it, or spray finesse so it won´t absorb the wet epoxy :-)
