@@jedrek29t Flowers do lose color when they get dried out. I believe there was this one flower that exists in my country, called Helichrysum (which means "golden sun") that is famous for not losing its color when it is dried images.greece.com/panoramio/07/22/08/49/59739027c4fec.jpg which was also used to make decorations for temples due to that fact.
Maybe also something happened with a chemical reaction that changed the color of the rose so much... I suppose? I have seen dried roses before that do not become THAT much black when they get dried out.

I love this so much!!! I really like how you get real close to the roses when you do this, I can imagine holding it in my hands and being able to see down into the little details of the rose. I’m glad you left off the handle because that would’ve just blocked the top view. If you did decide to do one with a handle on top one day, Maybe dry the rose upright until it starts to get top heavy and fall over and then either hanging it over a nail or arranging it in silica so it dries as a sad droopy rose 🥀 then you can see it from the side and still have a handle. Just throwing that out there.. Keep up the great work!!! ❤️❤️❤️

One time I just want to see what happens if you DON'T dry the rose.
The petals turn brown/yellow and it looks nasty af. That's what happened when I didn't dry out flowers before putting them in resin

Peter Brown has videos showing exactly that. they heat up while the resin is curing and it kinda burns them a bit, i think

You missed one detail, it's supposed to be a bell jar, and it's missing the the little nub on top for lifting it away. Sorry I'm just pedantic, but it does look very cool.

My father passed away six weeks ago and I got two roses from his funeral. I have been taking care of it as much I can. I would like to know some one who could do this exact idea, so I can keep his flowers as a memory from a loved one.
You can preserve the flowers yourself. Sooner the better buy some silica granules and cover the flowers in it in a air tight container leave for at least 7days depending on the flower

I work with resin for several years. The resin is odorless. I don't use a mask or gloves

Its not possible cause mould is a spore (rhizopus). How can it grow inside resin
I have a dried rose from my fathers passing and want to do this but am having trouble finding someone with the experience in my area.
