Don't forget you can get Threshold even in long runs when running half marathon paces during it. Progression runs are super awesome too. Still they are less specific then paced workouts like 3*10 at 60 minute pace.
@@Hana_shorts8436 great question. I think the easiest is just to extrapolate out from your closest race distance. So if you run 25 min for 5k, your 30 min pace would be slightly slower. And remember, always better to err on the side of slightly too slow for lactate threshold workouts!
@@CoachCarl Thanks for your response. I have used my performance curves HR/Pace/Power of last 6 months to extract paces of current fittness vs extrapolated paces for my goal marathon times from Daniels. Now, i see a improvement gap between paces which i need to work upon. Happy to see fresh videos incoming. Welcome your new subscriber here.
Great video with good content. I prefer more videos like this o e over others with influencers running crazy races and giving wrong information.
@@albertopedrazamartin6119 thanks for the kind words, glad you enjoyed it!

3*8min with 3 minute walking rest. Awesome
Great info. QQ: How to identify my 30mins, 45min, 60 min, 2 hr paces?
