I miss these kinds of videos. Reminds me of your yurt series which reminds me, I also miss you blessing your food. It had a very wholesome feel. Hope you bring that back. Our country needs God more than ever. Thank you Dave
Made a back packers pantry when I hiked a lot. Used an old stuff sack and bread bags to hold the food. Not only did it keep food from spilling all over my pack, but doubled as a bear bag to hang in a tree. A timeless idea with a new twist, very clever. Thank you 😊
Dave, you are such a innovative marketer. Great example of growing interest of an item and then showing as only you can, how to use these items. You are the best. Skillet
For my stews, I use flour as my thickening agent. Just put cold water with flour and stir it up and pour/ Add my salt and pepper then. in boiling meat and veggies. Thickens every time.
Thanks for the video Dave. I really like the Woodsman Pantry Plus concept. With it all packed vertically it will fit in the pack along side a rolled up woobie and other items. When I need it I don't have to unload the whole pack to find everything I need to cook some food. When done it can be squeezed back in the pack.
The plus was out of stock, so I got the regular pantry and the coffee press and some tins to fill out the kit, and I am WAY happier. I did it out of necessity due to the lack of the plus in stock, but that coffee press makes it a lot more versatile.
Looking forward to seeing the woodsman’s pantry plus on your website!! I’m definitely going to purchase one! All my gear is pathfinder!! Absolutely love your product!! Nicely done!! Dave Canterbury!!
I got the plus kit when you first had them come out. I love it, camping out for work every week it really helped keep a minimalist camp that could move with the job easy and not have to “rough it” too much.
Pantry plus would also be great rolled in a wool blanket and ground sheet carried tumpline style with a haversack on the side. I did a similar rig with my 18th Century treks years ago. Very efficient... as always.. great stuff Dave
I'm trying to get gear and everything together so I can take your classes. I want to be an instructor. I've been watching you since I was a kid and I've always wanted to learn to do what you do. Since I found out about the Pathfinder School I've had a goal. So thank you for giving me and people like me an opportunity to achieve this dream.
That's genius Dave! I got one of those reflectors with a infrared stovetop heater I purchased on Amazon. It helps reflect heat, but also acts as a wind barrier.
Thanks for reviewing the pantry Dave. I have the pantry, and the bag with the tins, fits perfect in the 2qt Pathfinder Bushpot. Great kit, and it packs well.
Dave I was just watching and another thing you could do with me is dehydrate chicken beef fish pork any kind of meet and put it in a Ziploc bag instead of having to buy and rehydrated while cooking it for soup or just to eat adding a little water or seasoning liquid. Long time watcher and great admirer of your videos please keep it up. KB4IBW
I found an aluminum screen like that to be very welcome in managing a fire. Like you said, it speeds things up a bit. It helped me cook with smaller fires.
Hey David - this was an awesome video! Loved the explanation for the genesis of the pantry and the show and tell (for lack of a better phrase) with each component. Loved cooking demonstration (my mouth is watering!) along with all the practical information on the windscreen. I truly appreciate how you think about things and then apply principles to other aspects of woodsmanship (ie the large reflector to an existing windscreen for cooking). After seeing you cook so many times - perhaps a cook book would be in the works? Keep up the good work
Looks great Dave those cup mugs. You might want to sell a secondary of the exact same design so that it’s double walled so you don’t have to wear a glove. I noticed that when you were picking it up after loading it with hot soup. I even said it should’ve been wearing gloves but you can make a thin double wall that will keep that from happening.
I'm sure you've probably answered this, but when is your new model woobie going to be back in stock again? Hope to get my hands on one. Thanks, Dave and team, for great, durable, and well thought out products!
I used to really enjoy Matt Mercer's cooking viewer submitted recipes on the SRO channel using Pathfinder products. Too bad you all got away from that. The recipe author getting the Pathfinder gear he used as a prize was pretty cool, too (I never won LOL).
I really like the concept. Just one question, what are these tins made of? I mean are these foodsafe? I don't really trust in aluminium as foodbox for example.
Obviously y'all get a lot colder up in Ohio than down in the southeast where I am, even in winter (we're having weeks November - February where the lowest it's getting is only in the fifties) how do you deal with spoilage in your meats and cheeses in this kind of a setup?
I’m definitely going to have to start cooking better when I’m out 😂 I had one raccoon that I made well and it tasted like steak but everything else I’ve botched 😅
Sorry about posting the 2nd half only earlier, too many Irons in the fire. Thank you for your views ans support

That pantry is absolutely brilliant! The "old" becomes "new" again...what a concept. Thank you for bringing something like this back from history!

I spent the money on the woodsman pantry. I use it everytime I go out. You can pack sooo much food in this system. Its great.
Loving these longer videos Dave, can’t wait to get a carbon steel skillet
All you need is spice tubes to go with it, thanks for sharing, stay safe!!!
This is a great idea with the discount for the weekend

Really, really cool system for food. I totally dig it. Hope I can afford it soon

Been using the pantry plus for years replaced the cup with the french press and love it

Thank you for all the great products!
That transition at 2:16 was CRISP
God willing, one of theys days id like to take part in one of your courses.

Hey, happens to the best of us! Always happy to see new stuff from you.
I really love the pantry concept, very clever. Doing a full review video followed by a sale is genius though.
So stoked for the carbon folding skillet!

Thanks for your Father’s Day sale I will now finally own the pantry plus with the French press! I can’t wait!
I’m looking forward to getting some more details on some of your products.
Pantry plus would also be great rolled in a wool blanket and ground sheet carried tumpline style with a haversack on the side. I did a similar rig with my 18th Century treks years ago. Very efficient... as always.. great stuff Dave
We used to use food tins like that when I worked on a fighting rooster farm down in Florida. They were called "tiffins".
I was wondering where your normal informative breakdown was! Thanks for posting this part its a great finish good product line
Cool setup. 👍
Now I have to go and fry up some bacon after watching this 😊.
You can also thicken the soup by adding cold water to some flour and making a gravy-like consistency and adding it slowly to the hot mixture.
Luv the tiffin styled packing system, wot a great product
Been some years since the phrase junk on the bunk , used by Dave. Always good informative videos 🏆 Thank you & greetings from Norway
I bought the pantry plus. Absolutely love it. Thanks

That would be awesome for canoe trips if I could still do such things! Love it!
Dang it Dave.... That's brilliant brother.... We appreciate everything u do for us outdoorsman as well 💪🏼 F yeah
Never seen anyone enjoy eating camping food as much as you
That's genius Dave! I got one of those reflectors with a infrared stovetop heater I purchased on Amazon. It helps reflect heat, but also acts as a wind barrier.
Thanks Dave.
Dave, you should do a series of videos on the business side of survival and bushcraft.
Perhaps I should
Bruh. The way the tins stack and fit nice and neat into that canvas bag is most certainly giving me "the fizz"
Sir,you make the best videos hands down. Way better than CC.
Marvelous brother
Thanks for reviewing the pantry Dave. I have the pantry, and the bag with the tins, fits perfect in the 2qt Pathfinder Bushpot. Great kit, and it packs well.
Thanks Dave
Nice job!
Everything tastes better outdoors . I could smell that salt pork !!!
Hope to see you on the CC GUILD.
I have one of this and is great!
Ty dave
Just finished the other upload too.. glad I get a double dose!
Damnit Dave, you got me again!! Got me Woodsman Psntry plus coming lol thanks for all you do my friend.

I have the pantry plush and I love it, I bought an assortment of cans so I could switch out ingredients

Nice out fit.
Question why did you get rid of the 12 once tins bring them back
It was dum to get rid of them bring them back
Manufacturer out of stock
Try carrying dried parmesan cheese. It’s 40-50% protein.
I like dealing with SRO. Top notch customer service. Thanks Dave. Good video.

Here in Wyoming, that screen invaluable,in our High Winds ,even getting under a Butte stiil have Wind to Contend with.
With that reflector, I think I'd find a way to attach it between the pack frame and the bag.
nice video ! can we have a update on your bowie knife ?
Looking at a run in black handle/sheath mid 2024
Are you going to get more waxed canvas bags in black?
I bought six of the tins to build my pantry I’ll have to buy a pantry bag
I learned a lot of Survival information from Dave. Good person.
Damn I want that skillet!
Nice kit! Where can we get the dehydrated vegetables?
Appreciate. The skillet is interesting. FYI; the sooon looks like a serving spoon - I very well may be wrong. 🤷🏼♂️🫵👍
What or how would you carry oil? To either fry in , or mix with flour to make biscuit/dumplings? Seems like it would be a great addition to this kit
Lard
"Food sundries": what a charming expression. You didn't learn that from the old manual, by chance?
Dave, you were using 3 spoons. It looked like what was the widest one. It seemed like you were doing all the stirring with it do you sell it
It was only 2 spoons the Military on and a longer handle one that matches a spatula I grabbed at Walmort
Dave where do u find the meet u used in the video buddy and how long will it last out of the refrigerator
The pantry plus is currently listed as out of stock. Will that status change tomorrow as i am interested in adding one to my wanigan. Thanks
Yes they are building them today
Looks phenomenal Dave. Making me hungry. I gotta know though, what wind screen is that? Is that a piece of pathfinder kit?
When will this kit be available to buy? Thanks!
What would people’s food stuffs be for the 6 larger tins?
Mine are :
Rice
Pasta
Lentils
Eggs
Veggies
Peanut butter (for peanut butter pancakes)
Will these tins fit in a standard condor water bottle holder?
Where do you buy the dehydrated supplies and the cured meat? I haven't been able to find any.
Was up in Massachusetts how can i come do the class stay in a hotel or camp all the time ???
I'm not a big soup fan, but I believe I could down a few bowls of that!😋
What is the grill your using in this video I have it but it's smaller
I'm sure you've probably answered this, but when is your new model woobie going to be back in stock again? Hope to get my hands on one. Thanks, Dave and team, for great, durable, and well thought out products!
April
Hey Dave, love the videos as always, & can those sweatshirts be purchased through your store somewhere? I didn't see them in there, so i was wonderin.
They can we are out of stock at the moment
How does the pantry tins fit in the 64oz bush pot?
So who makes the reflector you are using in the video? That's the prototype?
Prototype

I'm sure you have said before but what ingredients are in your dried veggies
Took a quick look at the link, thats not a bad price for what you put in there. Do you deliver to Canada
Yes Sir

Did you add salt and pepper?
O that figure’s I just bought both of those sets last month AND now there’s a sale😢
I’m definitely going to have to start cooking better when I’m out 😂 I had one raccoon that I made well and it tasted like steak but everything else I’ve botched 😅
Looks delicious not a kent Rollins the cowboy cook but still damn good cooking 👍
Dan'l Boone Inn!
Nothin like a good ole possum soup
Is that Otzi the Iceman on your neck?
One of those tins should be pipe tabacco!
