I made this cupcake stand and used it for my daughters bridal shower. It came out great. I went for the cleaner look mainly because I am a beginner crafter. Thanks to ur vedeo they came out very good.
TOTALLY, 100% WITH the crystals! My best friend and I used to design and make lots of projects {mostly clothing} for celebrities, dance clubs, etc... (I even made costumes for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders!) ANYHOO, of course we always used "Swarovski" crystals since they were for a business, but I love EVERYTHING BLING! Now our home is basically ALLLL "vintage shabby chic", but my "chic" portion of that term, lol, is quite often very sparkly! {there's no such thing as too much bling in my book 😘} I can't WAIT to make this cake stand, however, I'll probably use silver. I've just never been a huge fan of gold tones, plus, it seems a little too fancy for all the shabby chic stuff. But either way, I think it's BEAUTIFUL and I can't WAIT to make it! I too have a ton of different crystals so I may never have to buy more. Lol TFS

Wow incredibly impressed I was looking for a very affordable unique centerpiece ideas for my wedding, 1 idea that stood out was use a 3 tiered cupcake holder and add flowers per level. Looking at prices were out of my budget so came across your video and voila I found it, going to make it with crystals, and buy bulk fake flowers of roses and peonies in ivory, and blush to put on each level thank you soo much.

This was so exciting to watch you. I loved your cupcake stand. It came out beautiful, I for just regular birthdays I would use it without crystals, but for special occasions I would definitely want the crystals on it. I would display it in my cabinet with the crystals on it. So I like it both ways. Thank you for showing this DIY it will be used quite a lot. If using for cupcakes or any food without bling as I think that could get in the way and dragging frosting through crystals is not fun (or sanitary!). I like the blinged up if using as a decor piece, say on a baker’s rack with fake cupcakes. Great idea and execution and cupcakes look delicious. Love the acorn!
