When I made my cupcake stands I bought cake boards and glued them inside the burner covers as reinforcement and it worked great. Just thought I'd share that just in case you wanted to try it. The stands turned out beautiful.

Hello ! My question ❓ is,. These cake stands are EPIC. My question is , after the cake is on there, and ppl cut slices, and if iceing and or crumbs get in the creases of the glass & tray, how will it affect of being washed & cleaned? I guess I'd have a few concerns. But these are so eligiant... Excellent idea. ❤️
Hello! Sorry for the late response! I’ve washed mine without any issues. However, I only used it once for a cake, and didn’t have any frosting get on the sides, only on top of the mirror. I use them mostly for bite size treats and cupcakes when I do dessert tables/buffets. I wash them just like I do the fancy ones that I purchased from the store. I don’t soak or submerge it in water, I just wash the top with soap, then rinse and dry it right away. Thank you so much for the compliment and for watching!! ☺️💕 I still use these often!

How heavy of a cake were you able to place on each stand? Did you have to spray any kind of protective coating on the pedestals after you painted them?

Thank you so much!!☺️ I wouldn’t put anything over a two-three layer cake on it. No, I didn’t spray any protective coating on it, but it would certainly make them last longer. You could use a clear gloss spray.

Thank you! You can use E6000 glue along with the hot glue gun to give the stones a more secure hold.
How did you get the mirrors in the stove covers? I’m having trouble getting mine in lots like they are a little too big. I have the 8 and 10 inch mirrors

That tall one. Well they’re all beautiful but that tall one is it really sturdy? I’d be afraid to put a heavy cake on it. But I want to make one. Tfs. They are gorgeous!
Yes, it’s just as sturdy as cakes stands I’ve purchased! The E6000 glue is industrial glue. I don’t put anything heavier than a three layer cake on stands I’ve purchased from the store unless it’s a flat stand. Thank you so much for watching! 😊
