This is why I love this game so much. The heartwarming narratives that spawn from the ether and tug at the heartstrings. A story of a lone wonderer coming to the rescue, becoming a pillar of a community only to sacrifice himself in the end; Fantastic!

The only MIB ive gotten was the brother of the colonist that died immediately after they arrived, leading to him breaking and the colony bleeding out/freezing to death
This hurts Not the death of him but my experience with MIB usually have a poor-ish stat with only 6 in shooting who apparently came in with a revolver with like 4 bullets to save the day... from a tropical house fire where one guy was catatonic and the beds were burned down and the rest were either injured by a few enemies or in severe burn damages, or even dead while hunting. The dude just didn't bring materials, was incapable of dumb labor so he couldn't get materials either so he just died into the cold 2 days later because of no shelter.
nice to see my boi John Townsend is taking a break from making homey youtube videos about 18th century cooking and going out to rid the rimworld of evil.
When I started to play this game I didn't knew much about It, but I still played with some mods (yes, I never played this game without any mods). One of this mods whas pawnmorfer that I just leaved It active during my entire playtrough. I whas minding my business with my 5 colonists as usual when sudenly popped a message that some chaoboars wandered in (It whas 4 of then), so I tryed taming then where 2 i succeed and 3 third one got angry and started to attack the colonist and the fourth one went along (both where killed). The first one I tamed whas a actually Sapient female mutation called Freckles and worked as a regular colonist despite only being able to craft and handle so I made her craft Stone blocks and haul very frequenly since chaoboars are surprisingly fast. Time passes and more prisoners are recruited while raids happens and no one dies for a long time. One day my colony got raided by mechanoids and I drafted ALL the colonists to fight (including her) and whe won, but before that in the middle of the fight, one of the scythers slashed her heart, killing her instantly. I whas really Sad with this since I always got very attached to my colonists very easily and this whas the first colonist death I had in this save, so I just kept her body in the freezer, BUT in less than a day after this, I got a quest where one of the rewards whas, I KID YOU NOT, a FUCKING RESSURECTOR ... Holy shit I whas so happy with this that I didn't wasted any time, got my suplies, and 4 heavily armed colonists to go and kill those bandits (didn't had any problem), so the moment I got the reward I used on Freckles and I whas happy to see her back. After that I did some research on pawnmorfer content with another late colonist I recruited to find a cure for mutations, found It and cured her back to being a human, and oddly enought, she ended up marrying this same researcher who at that point had research skill att 17 because ALL he did whas research and hunt Once in a while. This save whas the longest I had and lasted around 9 to 10 years, and It's been a while since I lost that during PC formatation, but I'l never forget those moments with those pawns that made me really happy, like the moment where 30 manhunter foxes almost killed everyone but whe managed to survive, but when the last pawn whas about to finish his recovery (he whas the Cook), a "Zzzt" explosion happened right on the wall of his bed setting hin on fire, and HE SURVIVED AGAIN, but not without some permanent scars on his hands, so I gave hin bionic arms, then whe became a even better chef :^) I love this game, and I hope I never get tired of It :^D
beautiful storytelling, you shouldve utilized the cloud save for steam, unless you dont have steam, or google drive before you formatted your pc, kinda sad you dont have that ssve anymore

My best man in black was one named Cold. Cold came during a toxic fallout siege from war caskets right when a shambler hoard of 153 zombies showed up. Cold managed to get all of the living people inside and got several brain shots against war caskets that came in then stayed awake 50 some hours welding a hastily made door to keep the zombies out. Cold managed to keep 3 of the colonists alive and we moved from that. 2 kids and a doctor with him. The doctor died of old age shortly after arriving there. A lone yttakin with a wooden hammer attacked and tanked 4 shots then hit cold once knocking his head off. Bled to death moments after. The oldest kid gained the animal hater trait. Built cold a coffin. Engraved a picture of cold teaching him on it. Then dedicated his life to wiping out the yttakin pirates and the junkers
I imagine a colony being near wiped out, Half of the guard force has been killed and the entire other half is incapacitated as the rest of the colony, when suddenly, A MIB comes and saves everyone and the colony then hails him as a leader, A Deity, A God, for saving them
Hands down quality video literally a animated story about a pawn who saves the colony then a sad story at the end but absolutely beautiful and funny and awesome make more like this
Two of my three colonists had a nervous breakdown. One was in a stupor, the other in despondency. And then 4 insane squirrels attacked me. The remaining settlers hid in a cave behind the one who was in despondency and tried to kill the squirrels, but could only kill one ... And then the hero appeared. MIB with shooting skill 0. He killed the remaining squirrels by beating them with a pistol. It was effective due to melee skill 1. And when I sent him to rescue the colonists, he had a nervous breakdown and the last straw was having a pistol in his hands ... The settlement died out.
