    We bought a golf cart on Craigslist and the stock tires just slide and spin in mud. We bought All Terrain tires and of course it needed a lift. Thanks for your good instructions.

    One important point missing in the instructions is what to do with the left brake line....I had to cut the bracket to let it drop and give it enough length with the 6 inch drop

      That is a good point and I should have mentioned it. But it’s weird I have done probably 20 of these and other then 1 or 2 i didn’t have a issue so i don’t know if it’s a year thing or gas vs electric thing but a very rare issue but def worth mentioning

    Are you sure those are 9/16? I thought pretty much everything on these carts is metric, which could be your problem.

    • @EluderRacing
      @EluderRacing  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      your correct they normally are metric but the nuts were rusted and not there normal size so the 14mm would slip

      @@EluderRacing I was removing an exhaust bolt on mine this week and I had to use a 7/16, since it was rusted down in size from 12 mm. So I understand where you're coming from!

    SO.... I'm stuck on my install of this same kit on an 2000 EZGO TXT. My issue is that the rear axle does not have a welded mounting plate (think you call it an axle-perch)... there is a mounting plate, instead, which is loose. Any ideas?

    • @EluderRacing
      @EluderRacing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So the mounting plates and the u bolts all work together with the u bolts doing all the work

  • @curtishanlon1781
    @curtishanlon1781 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Doesn't show what spring perch you are bolting the 6" mount too.
    That's the most important part wouldn't you think?

    • @EluderRacing
      @EluderRacing  ปีที่แล้ว

      The rear lift is achieved by taking off the factory u bolts and moving the leaf springs from under the axle to over the axle you then bolt the factory perch to the axle and stack the adapter plate on top of it. It’s basically called a axle flip.

      @@EluderRacing my 2002 gas ezgo has no plate what so ever welded to the rear end. I haven't seen any video with this type of mount yet. I figured out a way to make it work though for an extra $25.
      All done and riding around.
      I should have made a video of how i did it with the type of mount i have on mine. I know all about axle flip.
      I wanted to finish before it got dark where i could record like he did. 😂

    Could you tell much of difference in power with the added weight from the wheels and tires?

    • @EluderRacing
      @EluderRacing  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      dustin shewmake on a 36volt model cart like mine they are only like 2hp when going up to a 23” tire I noticed a huge drop in torque had trouble on some big hills etc...

    You know you did your lift kit pieces backwards I mean it still works I'm sure but they're supposed to angle towards the back to push the rear wheels a couple inches back

    I just installed this kit on my EZGO and my driver side brake line is very tight now, I see in your video looks like yours is too. Is that an issue, any recommendations? Thanks

      if you are doing this yourself then go as wide as you can find to prevent flipping
