I am Anglican but I have learned more about Christ from Bishop Barron than from any other human. I share his sermons to over a hundred people every week and many have pleaded that I should not stop. May The Good Lord continue to bless Bishop Barron’s ministry.
I used to be Anglican but in 2018 I converted to the Catholic Church. The respect for the education of the laity in the Catholic Church is greater than anything I have experienced before.
"Suffering is nothing by itself. But suffering shared with the passion of Christ is a wonderful gift, the most beautiful gift, a token of love." *- St. Mother Theresa*
The "sufferer" is one of the misidentifications we make. The body, mind/emotions, prana body, doer, enjoyer are all a part of the ego. The reality of you is consciousness, which is awareness of all these things that come and go in time and space. Consciousness is untouched and unchanged, simply aware.
As I watch the world descending into the darkness of paganism and secularism and modernism and communism and all the other errors of humanity, I wonder when the test of my faith will come, and I pray that I will recognize the test and will not fail to stand up and be counted as one of Christ's followers. I hope that when it happens,, the Holy Spirit, as Jesus promised, will give me the words that will identify me as one of His disciples. And, whether I am spared or taken that I will give glory to God. I feel that time is coming quickly. Thank you, Excellency, for a beautiful meditation.
Beautiful response to Bishop Barron’s excellent and timely message. I have felt a similar conviction and also pray and trust I will also have the courage to proudly stand and be counted. May God continue to bless you! 💖🙏🏽
Yes, Michael, let us prepare for future Peter-denying-moments. However, the test of which you speak is now! It is every moment of every gift of a day! We are called to be the Light in every moment, every encounter, every breath to the best of our ability, re-gifting Him the gift of each day. This IS the test. We are challenged now, where we are! As St Mother Teresa said, "Let us begin!" Palm Sunday blessings to all from the sunny and chilly Jersey Shore :)
I’m coming into the Catholic Church this year at the Easter vigil. I have never been so excited in my life. God has willed this moment, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you for all of your videos, Bishop Barron they have been so helpful. ❤
A Kenyan Catholic and Priest. Bishop Barron you are always a great inspiration to me. You speak the Word of God so simply but so deeply cutting to the heart . In your preaching one can't fail so see themselves so clearly as reflected in clean mirror. May Jesus raise you the more to feed His poor lambs.
Can't thank you enough Bschop Barron for making thousand of people's spiritual lives grow through your prophetic sermons all over the globe .TRULY YOU ARE A MAN OF GOD Happy Easter to you and your wonderful team of World on Fire. May God bless you abundantly.Nick from Brussels,Belgium
Happy Palm Sunday everyone ✝️ Hosanna to the Son of David and let us praise him for his suffering and redemption of our sins and helping us live in eternal glory with Him and the Father 🙏🏻
I am always struck by that comment at the end by the centurion. Can you imagine you’ve just taken part in the murder of God and then realize all of a sudden that you’ve made a terrible mistake because he was indeed the Son of God, the one spoken about by the Prophets. I’m not sure I could live with myself, but as you say Bishop, this is something I do in small and big ways all the time when I sin. Thank God for His Son Jesus and the Sacraments which give me a “way out” of the trap of sin and death!
Great preaching, Father. Like your Easter haircut. At my parish we're having the Best Lent Ever. I'm like them all, have been, during my formation. Got confirmed 2 years ago. I'll be 70 come May 1. Today I find myself at his feet pouring out my heart. God Bless All you Shepherds.
I often ask myself if I would be one of the people too afraid to say they know & love Jesus, because of the repercussions from the Jesus- haters, OR would I stand tall and be proud to say I am a follower of Jesus? I'd like to believe I would be the latter, but I've asked myself this many times. Now, in this day & age, I clearly affirm my love for Jesus, regardless of the haters. I thank God, He has helped me grow in my faith! God Bless you Bishop Barron, excellent sermon! Blessed Palm Sunday!❤
We know them by their works: We train vegetables to know Jesus Christ by indoctrinating children with our fantasyland vocabulary. Freud wrote the antidote to Christianity is literacy. So let's get you literate.
Here’s what I know , Jesus is the son of God , Jesus is EVERYTHING to me , and the more I worship Him , the more I am attacked. “they will fall on your left , they will fall on your right”. I’m living it . This isn’t about me . This is about my love for Jesus, the anointed one . Through out the hell fire in this life my eyes will remain fixed on Him, it’s the only way , the only way . God help this world. Thank you and sending love to a beautiful man.🙏🏻
Travelling the Holy Week from Germany to the US and I am so happy to be in „Bishop Barron country“ soon! Thank you for this awakening homily and for all the work you do!
Thank you, Bishop Barron. You have given me much to contemplate on this Palm Sunday and on my journey. Jesus, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner. ✝️
Daer Bishop, I am Giuse Maria Bui Tan Tien, a seminarian of the Diocese of Hai Phong, Vietnam. Currently, I am in my third year of studies at the Hanoi Seminary. I have a desire to proclaim the Word of God to everyone through communication, so I have created a TH-cam channel to share the Gospel and teachings of the Church. I have come to know Your Bishop through your videos. I kindly ask for your permission to create Vietnamese subtitles for your sermons to be posted on my TH-cam channel. I pray that the Lord grants Your Bishop peace, wisdom, and grace during this Holy Week. Please pray for me as well. Thank you, Your Bishop.
Dear bro I pray for you and appreciate your enthusiasm to preach the gospel using media. All the more translating bishop Barren's sermon in your mother tongue by subtitling is tremendous, awesome one May God continue to bless you! God who inspires you with this idea, may he guide you in this process and bring to completion A priest from Pondicherry, India
I can't thank you enough dear bishop for bringing out each of the characters with their significance so so effectively. For me the passion reading always has remained a narrative of the events. Your sermon has got me identifying myself with each of the characters. THANK YOU FOR YOUR AWAKENING SERMON!!
It’s has been a privilege and a gift to listen to you these past few years. I hope these homilies and WOF shows continue for many more years. Bishop Barron has taught us how to understand scripture as if for the first time. I am very grateful. A big Congratulations for exceeding over 1 million subscribers. All these people are being brought closer to Christ.
I specifically wondered about the witness who 'ran off naked'; Thank you the clarification. On my own, I thought to give this person 'credit', outlasting all who had turned away. He held out the longest. But how important to realize when push comes to shove, how many of us will not be able to hold on and proclaim our faith when put to the test. Sobering indeed.
I solemnly enjoy meditating on your sermons and especially the stations of the cross, not only on Holy Week but when we want to commune with our Lord. Thanks for these, Bishop Barron.
Honest Reflection is a good start. You are on your way. This time of year is difficult and holy and joyfully difficult for me. I left the clergy a few years back. I will this year be with The Sisters at Mount Saint Scholastica. Yeah, go figure. Look at God. Put on Christ it's chilly out here.
He didn’t come for those who had it all figured out. Apart from John, all his friends deserted him while he hung on The Cross. Yet, after The Resurrection He came to see all of them and showed love.Try the Fr. Dolindo Ruotolo prayer “ Jesus, I surrender myself to you… take care of everything”. Put your guilt away for now and just rest in His Compassion and Unfathomable Mercy. You must truly know you are loved deeply first, before you begin “the work”, which can only be accomplished by His Grace, preferably via the Sacraments.
Thank you Lord for giving us your only begotten son - the human expression of eternal love - to us and also clergies such as Bishop Barron for offering new and fresh perspectives on the Word Made flesh.
Thank you for the wonderful sermon, Bishop Barron. I was very happy to hear you mention the Shroud of Turin and the 'Cap of Thorns'. A Blessed Holy Week to you!
God bless you, Bishop Barron! You had me in shivers at those last comments about the Roman centurion. This homily is so rich, and forces one to look into one's heart with humility - something I know I need as we head toward Holy Week. Thank you, Bishop, for this beautiful meditation! 🙏🏼
There is something poetic and special about his sermon, and Mark's Gospel, for that matter, ending with the messianic secret being proclaimed by the Roman Centurion, and finally, not being silenced. "Truly, _this_ man is the son of God"
Thank you for this sermon, Bishop Barron. Meditating on the passion narrative has helped me in endless ways, to be with our Lord throughout his sorrows, and to then go back through his life leading up to the crucifixion, and then to go forward through his resurrection and ascension. Meditating on all of the mysteries via the recitation of the rosary and then focusing on his passion in the divine mercy chaplet has helped me to find meaning and purpose as well as solace and consolation in my own journey of life, with it’s failures and successes, as well as the meaning and purpose of my 20 year journey with a chronic pain affliction. God is endlessly good, and endlessly good to us, because his deep love for each one of us is endlessly wonderful.
The centurion truly saw who Jesus was. The magnitude of that insight is both overwhelming and so purely humbling at the same time. Our gift of faith is truly so profound and yet so simply pure - An on-going outpouring of Love at its fullest and greatest.

Powerful words, Bishop Barron. Something important to think about during this Easter season. I appreciate all you do to convert souls to Jesus Christ. God bless you and your ministry! ✝✝✝
Thank you so much for reflecting ourselves back to us in the mirror of the Gospel. What an inspiring angle to read the passion narrative not looking at Christ directly but learning to see ourselves in the people looking at Him. To all: have a blessed Holy Week.

How do we unite our suffering with the Passion of Christ? My suffering is a fraction of His suffering so I don’t want to be self-centered.
I was taught to just offer it up to the Lord in prayer.
❤
Offer it to God when you intercede for others
