Rolling for and grailing her. No question asked. Summer burned me hard so Rikyu is my last target for the year. She is my rebound after not getting Skadi or Ibuki.
Most hyped servant of the year for me. Love the design and like that shes strong and actually viable for a Quick servant. On top of being part of my growing roster of my “DOUMAN MEMES” servants for CQs
I threw 11 tickets at the banner to get Mori, because I don't have him, and got her instead. When Himiko was released I went for Saito and got Himiko instead. If I had a nickle for every time I got a 5 star servant from a GUDA banner when I wasn't pulling for them, I'd have two nickles. Which isn't a lot, but it weird that it happened twice.

Have you ever considered opening a Patreon or Kofi so you will be incentivized to make these styles of servant reviews? I think you should be rewarded for your efforts because this format takes a while to edit! I started video editing as well, mainly anime figures, and I understand how long the editing process can take 😂
still the only card type that can exclusively use your own servants to actually loop event stages. Very handy for f2p as we do not pull for every single event thus most of the times we have to choose suboptimal supports prioritizing ce drop boost and being able to actually borrow oberon support as well Arts? Use your own castoria + support castoria + your own oberon = bond level overload Buster? Use your own koyan + support koyan + your own oberon = bond level overload

@@ivanbluecool pretty sure the person you are replying to was referring to quick as "f2p friendly" because actual casual f2ps don't really farm on 90, 90+ or 90++ nodes hence having a lot more "budget option" instead of needing to complete the looping team like with arts and buster. I have the supports for arts and buster looping but honestly when I'm being lazy I'll just use Parvati on a lvl 80 node.
A interesting Servant to keep in mind, once I eventually manage to 10/10/10 all of my Summer Skadi's skills. But for now, I rolled three times just for the CEs. _(somehow got spooked by Yamanami, so hey, that's a plus!)_
Having a Jack deck is really sad, her np being quick is fine since it has a higher modifier but man she could have been strong with S.Skadi if she has double quick and buster
@@jq8164 Thats why you should use Rikyu with caster skadi rather than ruler skadi or most optimal is to use both. Best comp for Rikyu is Ruler skadi and support Ruler skadi and plugsuit Caster skadi.

Yeah, being Quick tends to force a "well..." kind of reaction to them. Some can manage to rise above the weaknesses of the card type, but some are just solid. And for Quick that can be...not quite enough.
I do want to say one thing about the Quick is still Quick, and I can't be the only one that has thought of this in all these years. Why not just let the Quick NP use all the stars they make and let only the Quick NP Crit. It would help the damage problem and help refund a bit more NP gauge and be the big unique think for Quick I have not followed much on the development of games for a while not but this was just a why not let Quick use it card type purpose to the fullest. Anyway, I just got my copy of her in only tickets after watching your video. Thank you so much for the luck!!!! I'm also glad to have the old format back.
The issue with Quick as an archetype isnt really the NPs. The NPs are strong because they have inherently higher base damage, can refund decently well like Arts can due to the lower base gain generally beiong compensated for by high hit counts, and they also make 50+ stars under DSS so you are guaranteed to crit on every card next turn. The issue lies more in the cards being inherently weak. They deal half the damage of Busters, have low base gain which makes getting to the next NP hard if you cant feed batteries or didnt refund enough, and the active star gen isnt impactful on a single target unless you have 6 hit cards like Jack (very few do). This leads to the turns where you aren't NPing feeling extremely weak as you deal neither damage like Buster cards do nor do you quickly get to the next NP like Arts cards do. Letting the NPs crit would both make them insanely broken compared to Buster and Arts NPs (as you suddenly get +200% damage just from two Skadis for example, and that's before we consider the multiplicative x1.5 base damage and refund) and also further tilt the balance towards non-NP turns feeling godawful. Fixing quick requires a combination of more support options outside of Skadi and her Summer version, and buffing Quick cards inherently, be it their base damage, their star gen or their NP gen, or any combination of those. Further shifting power into thr already strong NPs is not the way to go imo.
I actually more interested in rolling for Kukochihiko this Gudaguda except he's stuck in NPC Jail so never even though he has animations and battle voice lines.
Bruh. Had 80 SQ and 9 Summon Tickets. Literally picked up the 5 star craft essence with the first summon ticket then the Rikyu with the second. Thought, "That's neat but I wanted the Shinsengumi saber bro". So I did one multi pull. Got Another Rikyu. Almost choked on my food (On lunch break for overnight shift). Used the rest of the tickets and got the other craft essences. But I still wanted the saber bro. Did another multi and grabbed Oni Mushashi (Based) Had enough fragments to bump my 20 remaining SQs to 30. Did my last multi and picked up Saber bro and another copy of Rikyu. I put my phone down and took a nap for the remainder of my break. Why couldn't I have this kind of luck for Summer Ibuki???

I will say that yes, she's basically unnecessary not because she's in the quick meta, but mostly because as you mentioned even in just comparing her competition to quick other units already fulfill niches that do a lot more. If quick does get a massive fix by saying 10th anniversary, she will absolutely benefit but the same goes for other quick units in general. How much they benefit will vary wildly like how og waifu bride berserker fran apparently is now a top tier looper thanks to aoko giving her immunity from her own debuffs. So while I can say you should get her but not right now. First off the timing of it all was bad because before and after a lot of big game changing units are coming. And 2, you're better off making the attempt for her on her 2nd banner in next year's gudaguda event where you win no matter what cause you get a decent 3 star out of it as opposed to.... Hah.... What is arguably the worst 4 star in the game but I'll let you do your review of him when you get around to it later cause.... Hooo boy there is a lot to say about this shinsengumi unit and how lasengle really seemed confused on what they wanted him to do.
