Hyunjin is on a hiatus right now. Because of some bullying claims. JYP completely threw him under the bus to me. They didn't do much to protect their artist and prove if he is innocent or not they just sent him away from participating in the group activities and stuff. Poor kid

but the thing is in this case, had it been some other artist, JYP would have already taken him off the team because of the accusations even if they were to be proven false, so basically what im trying to say is that having him on hiatus at this time is honestly a decent decision cause the korean netizens are pretty ruthless and would basically demand for him to be kicked out. So, in my opinion, even if the claims are false, its better to have him on a hiatus till everything is sorted and cooled down rather than him having to face insane backlash from the public.
@@JCSquad surprisingly, stray kids are generally one of the groups that isn't mistreated thAt much, thankfully. Not saying that there is absolutely no mistreatment or harship cause that would just be false, but they are a team that fortunately get some freedom from the label.

JYPE also needs to stop with this their "apologize even if you're wrong or not strategy". It causes more harm and makes the situation worse. Mingu of seventeen was accused of way worse things than Hyunjin and yet his company handled it better. JYP needs to hire better crisis PR. I could have written a way better statement for free than those idiots did.
This is an okay guide but there a better ones. This is just cutesy facts not really showcasing their abilities. I really think you should watch the guides by SKZVintage. They are a bit longer and it is in 2 parts. Their guide really showcases their abilities and helps differentiate them by their voices and abilities. I would love to see you guys react to them!

Visual is basically supposed to be the “most attractive/captivating of the group and Aegyo is basically just acting cute. A lot of the time when Kpop idols do aegyo it’s usually singing a very cute song or making cute expressions or even talking in a “baby” way. Just a quick reminder for you all: when romanizing names, they usually put last names first since that's how it's written in Korean. For example, Seo is Changbin's last name, Bang is Chan's last name and so on. Sometimes guides write the last name second, but you can usually tell the difference. Some common last names you might see a lot are Choi, Lee, Kim, Park, Jung/Jeong, Kang, Yoon and Im (obviously, there are a lot of last names and not all idols are Korean, but you get the gist).

Hey! I'd like to recommend a different and more in depth guide for you guys, the skzvintage stray kids guides part one and two (three isn't out yet). Seeing this guide in how hard it was to read and also how little information there was about each member (not to mention that they didn't even show half of them singing/rapping/dancing), I think you should check out another one that has more details and more up to date information. I love the reaction and stray kids but you didn't really get the full picture. You guys were super funny tho (you said Han's name right its hawn like dawn and not hand like in hand)
Also visual basically means the member that fits Korean beauty standards the best. They usually do acting roles or outside photoshoots. Now, stray kids doesn't have any official positions anymore. Seungmin is said sung (like I sung a song) and min (like in minute). and yeah, stray kids are known as the shorties of the industry, their tallest member (Hyunjin) is the same height as the shortest member of txt (Taehyun).

The best Stray Kids guide now is by SKZVintage!! Its the newest and most informative one out there. Its more focused on the actual talent and abilities of the members, which is amazing if you want to learn more. They have a skz guide (in 2 parts, its longer but 100% worth it ) and a 3Racha Documentary (BangChan, Changbin and Han) which is also AMAZING. I would highly recommend checking them out:)

There's another one from Skz Vintage. But i personally think that Hyunjin Nation's video is better for beginners like you guys.. you guys will get a little confused when u're watching Skz Vintage's guide video cuz there's so much information.

Honestly the guide that you reacted to was a good guide for the length that it was and I really love the reactions and commentary. Longer more detailed guides that I would recommend are hyunjin nation's 2021 guide (my favorite haha) or skzvintage's 2021 guide. They are all super good but super long. But I think a lot of us wouldn't mind if you separated the videos into parts so we can watch you react to all of it!

I don’t care for this guide, it’s kind of outdated and some of the facts are “important” or just not super relevant. Not say the facts are as important I think there are better facts.
SKZ is one of the shorter idol groups or as Chan says 'fun sized'.
Three members produce their music and their main dancer helps with choreography as well. So a very talented group.
All employers mistreat their employees at some point in some manner.
The issue with idols is that they're the product and an employee and it's very public obviously.
So you would not only have to hate ALL companies, but the industry and fans becuase we fuel it, et etc.
JYP's biggest issue is that their favouritism is VERY obvious. They are also very strict regarding contract rules and consequences if the idols break it (like if an idol breaks a contract clause they may be let go). JYP as a company also likes to be in the public eye/a talking point so they have done various tv shows. If they did less of that then maybe it would be better for idols as it's a lot of extra work.
But we don't know what happens behind the scenes and we have to take all claims of any mistreatment with a grain of salt until further info and evidence os available to back it up...
Being an idol is very difficult and they kinda know what they're getting into - not glitz and glam like people assume They have dance training, lessons on how to act on camera for certain shows, etiquitte lessons, recordings, writing or producion time, vocal or rap lessons, hours in beauty shops, outfit fittings, hours of travel, rehearsals, waiting backstage, photoshoots, no privacy, being stalked, etc etc ....I could never... While companies are then taking certain advantages and those need to be addressed (especially if illegal things take place)- they (the idols) also know a lot of it before debut.
I'm not excusing the companies or some of the bad acts that they or a few bad staff members commit, but a lot of it is part of the game and public knowledge and there are many good staff members in these companies and in the industry that don't deserve to be painted with the same brush. Take all claims with a grain of salt and wait for info as *some* claims of mistreatment have turned out to be false...

If you wanna learn some more korean of family I can give you the basics like appa eomma oppa noona halmeoni and hal-abeoji appa is use for father eomma use for mother oppa is use for a female referring to her older male friend or older brother (only female use it) noona is use for a male referring to his older female friend or older sister ( only male use it) halmeoni means grandmother hal-abeoji means grandfather also another term use is sunbaenim and dongsaeng sunbaenim is used to refer to your senior (both female and male can use it) dongsaeng is used to refer to a younger sibling (both female and male use it).🥰🥰🥰 well there you go a little technology on some basic family korean that I know of ❤❤❤

btw Rob was pretty much right when he said Seungmin's name @17:58 . its sort of like "Soong-Min," but the "oo" is sort of flat sounding (hence it being spelled "eu")
tbh if you learn to pronounce the korean vowels "ㅓ/ eo" and "ㅡ / eu" you wont have much trouble with korean names, those 2 vowels tend to trip people up since we dont have really a direct equivalent in english. hope this helps a bit!
oh and hyunjin is basically pronounced how it looks, its two syllables and the Hyun is like the "hon" in "honey" but with a Y sound after the h. Sorta like the word hyung
it also helps a lot if you can catch each other saying each other's names out loud

My answer would be how neighborhoods in low-class parts of the city are structured, such as more groceries store or even a library. I live in areas like this and I realized I've never seen the same type of store in my part of the city. I'm curious about your answer.
