Actually everyone was exciting for a reunion except for zayn but everyone wanted a reunion is just that they never talked about that so thats why but without liam one direction doesnt exist anymore, like liam said when zayn left the band, "now we are niall, harry, louis and liam because without zayn were not one direction" and for liam is exactly the same so.
I remember watching this video when it came out in December 2015 I just 8 years old. As someone who wasn’t a fan of 1D because that was more of my older sister’s era but I’ve always loved their music and ever since the news about Liam came out I’ve been watching a bunch of old videos/ interviews and edits that got me teary eyed a couple time. Fun Fact: 1D formed on my 3rd birthday 7-23-2010 (I’m 17 now)
If you want to know them just look interviews but you can watch like videos compilations of funny moments of them and you have to look funny moments of their concerts they were amazing and so funny and you have to react to the music video of best song ever
you should watch the dodgeball match they did with james corden as well is pretty fun and show a bit of their personalities too!! and for the 5 of them together you should watch their xfactor diaries they made back in 2010 :)

Harry was more of the face of the band by 2013 because he was the most popular, but Liam and Louis were more so the leaders. Liam was the one who had the most verses out of everyone in the band, especially on the first two albums (and was seen as the de-factor frontman in their x-factor days as he had the most singing experience). Louis was the one who wrote most of the songs (with Liam a close second). Louis was also the most business savvy, as he did a lot of the behind the scenes work, and helped the band's sound grow from generic boy band music to a more mature sound by the time the third album (Midnight Memories) came out.
When Zaine left, they spent almost a year on tour, Zaine was gone for a year, then when the tour was finished, they were supposed to take a one year break, but they never got back together, this was filmed right before they were supposed to go on a year break.

Long hair Harry is one of my all time fave era’s of his! lol They never really broke up, broke up they went on a break/hiatus and all started solo careers that took off and have/had all said they knew someday they’d come back together. Now Liam’s funeral they’ll be brought back together but for all the wrong reasons! :(
Zayn left the band on March 25th, 2015. The rest of the band released their fifth album (Made in the A.M.) without him and finished up the tour they had been on (that covered the fourth album called Four). The band then went on indefinite hiatus on January 2016 (they didn't dismantle it), and it was assumed that it would be a short break. Louis had believed it would only be an 18-month break. Unfortunately, the band never came back together and they all started focusing on their solo careers. Zayn leaving didn't end One Direction as they released an album after he left. However, I would say One Direction is now dead since Liam has passed, because I can't imagine any of the boys deciding to reunite the band especially since Liam was the one who wanted the reunion the most.
