    Thanks, great information. You gave me solid ideas for my checklist. I'm also in the midst of deciding where I want smart switches vs. smart lights or motion detection switches so I don't have to pay for a basic switch or light, then pay for the upgrade

    Thank you for a very compressive video. 3 things I would add: timers for bathroom exhaust fans so they automatically turn off. Add oulets for things that might be added later such as a water softener system, whole house humidifier, and a garage heater. Finally, add additional outlets in the garage and basement since many builders only do the minimum.
