Summer Symphony Storytelling | Greenville Symphony Orchestra

Wondering what the GSO does all summer? Summer Symphony Lollipops Storytelling events for summer camps is how we share music and the magic of a story with kids all over our community. This summer, we visited Phyllis Wheatley Community Center, Instruments of Praise, Carolina Literacy Project, and Mosaic Educational and Arts Program. Funding from South Carolina Arts Commission and The Jolley Foundation made it possible for these to be presented without cost to the camps or the families!
This summer's program featured our woodwind quintet and Teaching Artist Traysie Amick from South Carolina Children's Theatre with "The Day You Begin" by South Carolina author Jacqueline Woodson.
