I've done a few snooker cues as a hobby and from my experience i'd say don't use anything coarser than 320. You can't go wrong with too fine grit but you can easily do damage with too coarse.
@@silverburst79the colour will fill the feathers and grain and then the oil will continue to fill and seal at the same time. If you still feel the grain in your hand and its not completely smooth you can sand back again with 1000grit sandpaper and repeat the process. Taking your time and building up layers with drying time in-between will give you the best results. Finish with a clean smooth white cloth and buff like hell a few times then get a sheet of new A4 white paper, scrunch it up and buff the cue one last time with the paper. That will take anything that's left off bit leave the cue clean and feeling super silky. Take your time and get it done properly and ur cue will thank u for it and last a long time.👍🏼
Hi, where can I get it?
Where can I get that grain filler?
Where can I get these two products from
What grades did you use to sand it back? And do stop sanding before you reach the splicing? Thanks

Does it actually fill the grain or is it just for colour ?
