I guess the good thing is if you're not seeing white smoke from the tailpipe and the oil doesn't look like chocolate milk it's likely not the engine. But, like you said there's a bunch of other places it could be going. Good luck with staying in the $1,000 range. Too bad you had to miss the rally. Have you ever used the HOV lanes in Atlanta? I have, but not in my rig but it doesn't say anything about passenger cars only. Keep the good stuff coming.
That was some bad news, sorry to hear that. Glad the issue was resolved and not too bad overall. I have driven through Atlanta about twenty times in the last two years with visits to my daughter. I time them on Sunday Mornings. Seems like the best time around 10:00AM. I have had the misfortune to drive there at 4:30-5:00PM on a weekend and it was at a standstill for three plus hours. Only good thing was I had access to the bathroom while sitting in traffic. Hope to see you guys in the future. Me and Jen heading West end on the month for Three months to do the National Park swing out West. Take care and stay safe.
