    thanks for these vids im so close to getting this bike but the only thing putting me off is the cheap rear suspension they have on it - im a heavier rider. so was good to see you replacing it.

    Just got my first ebike this week, it's a different model to this one but has the same controller.
    Just wondering if you have the battery % option in the settings? Mine apelars to have every setting in the manual except that one (and the display just shower the bar, not percentage).
    Also, from what I can tell with the settings, PAS 0-3 is the only mode that keeps the bike under 15.5, the speed restrictor setting doesn't seem to work (or if it does, with my bike being 34kg the momentum it builds up carries it above 15.5 and it doesn't seem like the motor cuts off).
    I live in Birmingham, most rides will only be 3/4 miles to work etc so I'm not fussed about top speeds as such (PAS 5 pushes me up to 25-30, no idea what 9 would do if it's increased power beyond 5).
    I haven't installed the throttle on the handle bar to keep it legal/save hassle. Ideally I want to know that it's legal the way I'm riding it in case there's a crackdown (a lot of chavs around in Brum with crotch rockets etc).
    From what I've read and checked on the gov.uk guidance plus the statues it references, this controller seems like it can classify the bike illegal even if weight, lights/reflectors and motor power (250W) is all legal... or is the general consensus that so long as you don't have an accident or ride like a tool then they generally leave you alone?

    the shocks are a tad on the cheap side, i noticed this after my cyrusher ovia started squeaking after about 2 weeks, asked for a replacement got one and same issue a few weeks later, so for about 100-150 ( which isnt bad considering some sell upwards 400 plus ) you can bag your self a pretty decent upgrade, just measure from eye to eye of your current shock ( where the bolts go through ) and stroke length ( thats the piston part that moves in and out ) once you have that just order one with the same lengths there mostly standard sizes you'll get a nicer ride be able to tackle the potholed roads of blighty better lol also bag your self a suspension seat post, i upgraded my ovia with rock shox rear shock and a suspension seat post with bikeroo over sized seat ( which has built in suspension also ) all in about 350 but well worth the upgrades

      Hi Troy.
      Thanks for the info. I think I’ll definitely look at an upgrade.
      Thanks for watching.

      Hi Troy 👋
      I have a Cyrusher Ovia ordered. Do you know the measurements of the rear shock?
      Cheers

      @@hatemale1609 yes pal 165/47mm off the top of my head I'm not home right now so i cant check but I'm pretty sure that's it, it took a little bit of work to get it in so it may have been a touch bigger than needed but brute force and ignorance and in it went, fyi the rear shock they come fitted with is about a 25 quid part and obvs they buy in bulk so cheap cheap cheap ( same ones on ebay ) which is shocking after splashing out 2k on a bike lol its as basic as they come so pretty much anything is an upgrade lol i saw some for about 60-100 quid that are a substantial improvement with 1000lbs weight limits but if your gonna upgrade its worth getting from a decent brand with a good history as the shock does take a good pounding over time, again with decent suspension seat post and big old saddle like the bikeroo over sized its as comfortable to ride as my big Suzuki burgman, other than the let down in the rear shock its a very good bike

    If one dampener is made that way they all will be? Great channel have subbed, I have the Swoosh Gran Camino (UK) and I’m happy so far although the rear hub motor is a tad noisy imo 🤷‍♂️ but it was over a £1K cheaper than yours. Always liked the Cyrusher but not the step through version, thanks for sharing 👍

      Thanks for the comment Pete. I just checked out the whoosh bikes on line. They look nice. Great value!
      Yes, I’ve got to admit I’m not a fan of the step through to look at. However, all the other Cyrusher bikes are absolutely massive and wanted to keep the size down but still have the power. I think the Kommada is a good compromise. It’s still really heavy though!

    Hi Joe very good customer support from Cyrusher my Kommoda on the side stand mine does 32mph with the red bar all the way over to the right on the road on the straight I get about 27mph I absolutely love the bike had it about 3 months now I would say a new controller probably about 50 or 60 pounds I would probably play around with it to see what I could do find somebody who no's about electronics maybe a few components inside could be changed it's probably is programmed as well using a computer but if you know somebody it's the side where the power goes to the motor where components could be changed. another excellent videos thanks regards Dave😊

      Hi Dave.
      Thanks for watching. Yes, I think I’ll have a play with the spare controller.
      I’m glad you’re enjoying the channel.

      Hi guys I’ve just unrestricted my kommoda and my max speed shows 38.2mph 🫣 on the side stand with the red bar full to the right. It seems to be a lot faster then other kommoda bikes and I’m a bit worried about it as I don’t know if the bike is working properly or maybe there is a issue with the controller? Any advice will be appreciated. Great videos Joe👌

    How do you find the fat bikes on roads? I am thinking of buying one but not sure the fat tyres are ideal for tarmac

    • @Everything_E-Bike
      @Everything_E-Bike  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching Angus.
      I find the fat tyres quite good on the road. Plenty of grip and they absorb the bumps well. The main downside is the noise. Having said that, you can get road tread fat tyres that will reduce the noise and probably improve your range and speed a little.

      Any interest from police when on it, they are not massively discreet.

    • @Everything_E-Bike
      @Everything_E-Bike  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. As long as you ride it sensibly you won’t have any issues. If you’re concerned you can always leave it in restricted mode and it’ll still move along nicely and take the pain out of the hills.

    Dear friend, I, like you, had an accident on my
    KOMODA Damaged the KING-METER display when dropped.
    I have no opportunity to purchase a new KING-METER (They do not deliver to my country).
    Can be replaced with another device
