  • Arado and Seolla Schweizer's default BGM upon obtaining the Wildwurger and Wildfalken from SRW Original Generations.
    One does have to wonder why Seolla wears such a short skirt and low-cut shirt if she's so embarrassed by having people comment on her large chest and bear-print panties...

    they're basically a younger Kyosuke and Excellen with the personalities swapped. Have to admit it's kinda endearing the way Arado tries so hard to mimic Kyosuke ot the point that Kai comments that Kyo's getting sloppy in the simulator...then notices Kyo leaning against the wall and Arado climbs out of the sim.

    @theadventchild In the end it still kinda works, since the Alt looks a bit like a Hercules beetle and the Wurger has the Stag beetle based weapon.

    "Jacket armor punch."
    "Wing zenkai."
    "Drive zenkai."
    Then TBS combo attack. It showed in the SRW OG inspectors anime but they forgot those lines from SRW@2.

    @theadventchild Though it does give a "Hercules Bettle/Stag Bettle" dynamic for both mechs which I really liked.

    @Warlordalexi Wurger is german for shrike. Lots of the mechs in SRW have german names.

    Wildwurger and Wildfalken are the versions of the Alteisen and Weisswritter made from scracth and not made on top of the gespenst mk 2 (at least is how i see and the fact that the alteisen being called gespenst mk 3 by Axel).
    But doesnt change the fact they all are brother machines :)
    My team must have them 4 or else is not "my match"

    @theadventchild i thought they gave it the beetle crusher because its lighter than the stake and thus allows the wruger to have a powerful melee weapon while still being able to match the falken

  • @silvermoon551
    @silvermoon551 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hmmm... after looking at Hobbysearch, I found that there have been 3 Wurger model kits, but only 2 Falkens... and the weird part is that the only way to get a Falken with articulate wings is to get the TBS set of Falken and Wurger... the separate one, which is quite a bit older, has the wings molded as single pieces... it's just a sign of how far Kotobukiya has come.

    @wiessritter Isn't the crusher even heavier? And in the anime it was actually stated that Arado sucked at using the pile bunker and a crusher was more suited to his style

  • @lenlimbo
    @lenlimbo 12 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    To be fair, the real problem about the Alt Eisen isn't the weight of the Pile bunker, but that the weight is focused in the right part, instead of being distributed, or at least balanced by another weight.
    In the Wildwurger, even if the Crusher is heavier (I doubt it), it has a counterweight in the form of the suporter for the autocanon and the other weapons, so it's a more balanced mecha.

      Super late reply, but the actual "problem" with the Alt Eisen (and it's upgrade, the Alt Eisen Riese) is that it was far too top-heavy to be practical for mass production. The Revolving Stake and Autocannon weren't the problem, the problem was the massive Claymore Launchers that serve as the machine's shoulder armor. They pushed up the prototype Gespenst Mk. III's Center of Gravity to the point it becomes an Awesome, but Impractical machine. In the hands of a pilot who knows what he's doing (like Kyosuke), this gives the Alt superb agility and momentum in a single direction. In the hands of literally any other pilot, though, it becomes a struggle just to make the thing stand up, let alone move. The Riese is even worse in this regard, needing a Tesla Drive, a device usually installed to grant a machine atmospheric flight capabilities, just to remain stationary without falling over.
      The Wildwurger, by contrast, has much of this problem fixed by simply not having the Claymore Launchers to begin with. All it had in the beginning was the Jacket Armor and the gatling on the left arm. After the Alt's designer and chief engineer, Dr. Marion Radom, was notified about Arado's ability to use the simulated Alt Eisen, she supplied some additional parts to both complete the Wildwurger and balance out its center of gravity. This was accomplished by installing the Stag Beetle Crusher on the right arm, giving the Wurger a close combat option like the Alt's Revolving Stake, and adding a connection point for a Cold Metal Sword to the Gatling to further round out its combat capabilities, albeit with a bent towards close combat akin to the Alt Eisen itself.

      @@spiceracksargent0014 Super late reply, but the original specs for the Wurger meant for Arado had it equiped with a stake as well. But because Arado had so much trouble landing hits with it in the simulator that was swapped out for the crusher.

    Isn't it WIldvulture? I mean, he uses the quote "Feed on the enemy" or something like that when using the Boostwings... Makes me wonder, did something go wrong while translating the Mech's name? Just a thought though. Awesome track.
