Goode was the last part of the puzzle, Experience with the ability to make teams pay who sag in the paint on defense. Mgbako is ready for a great sophomore season like all Big 18. A truely great shooter and tons of potential going to the rim. Either Kannan or Myles will get it going behind the arch and we will be fine making about 8 threes a game. Top 6 to 8 in the country and a deep run in the big dance, Go Hoosiers and beat PU twice.
I don't think we have a bad shooting lineup that includes the starting 5 of Ballo, Reneau, Mgbako, Carlyle and Rice. Having more 3 point shooters like Goode, perhaps Cupps, Newton, Leal or Hatton inserted into the lineup does not necessarily guarentee they are more capable of getting quality looks. I think the balance of the starters overall games and top skills is going to allow for better 3 point looks. Also with the rebounding that they should be capable of the emergence of less tentativeness to shoot and worry about missing will increase the volume of 3 point shooting. The latter generally considered the bigger problem for those efficiency in attempt is everything fans.
