@@pumkitdrawz I’ve written it 5 different times but it undo-ed everything so I’ll just give you something vague and tell you more after I get home from school. Polyamory. Gay polyamory. They met at pre school, they fell in love in pre school. Except two of them. They were best friends since the youngest’s literal birth date. And they didn’t actually fall in love until the middle was 14. Also, the Middle & the oldest know everything about each other. They found out when they first started talking in year 3. Frick this needs so much context ILL BE BACK 😭😭
I have three stories I'm planning, one of them I'm actually doing at the moment. - Project Txilar: a normal college/highschool student (doesn't matter but I haven't decided) gets teleported unwillingly into another dimension and has completely lost his memory of his life before getting into the dimension except his name. He was forced to be there because he is the next heir to his grandfather's throne, if the boy refuses to take on the legacy he must fight to the death. On his journey to escape his grandfather and find a way home, he meets new people to join him and he goes on a journey of self discovery to retrieve his memory of the life he had before. - Project R.R.: a romance drama set in the 1900's in the Victorian Era.This story was inspired by "The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet". (I haven't done much so I'll just leave the short description). - Project Swan: a girl is abandoned at the circus soon gets adopted by the ringmaster and becomes an amazing trapeze artist. It's a story that has many stories full of adventure and drama, from telling the wild tales of the other performers stories and orgins, to the re-surfacing trauma of the girl and her terrors of her family. She is known as the Black Swan in the circus. Obviously Project Txilar is being worked on based on how much information is already put down, while Swan and R.R. are rather being brainstormed or plotted. I love all of the ideas I've thought of and especially love yours :D
You inspire me so much :) I love these kind of videos. Hearing about other peoples writing projects inspires me to try and get started on one of the 10000000 ideas in my head lol 😅
I love ur vids im writing a story called Arden Legacy and its about a girl told by a voice that she is destined to save the kingdom and along the way she meets a boy and girl and there is a witch and this is very very vague but there are loads of plot twists and I personally think its coming along really well it is going to be 500ish pages long and im only 11 and very passionate about writing so ya
I'm also 11! Yours sounds so cool 😭 the one I'm supposed to be writing right now (but I'm procrastionating) is called Childhood, and it's a wholesome young polyamourus love story kinda thing but the message of the story is to bring awareness to child abuse. Basically, the three main characters all have trash parents, frequencing from bad to mind-thawing horrible, and the one who has the "best" parents among them would trade their parents for almost anyone's even though they give him an allowance of 200k each month, the one who's worse would do almost anything to change the way his parents are, and the one who has the sickening horrendous parents (well, his mother is arguably the best woman in the world, while his dad is...well...) doesn't want to do anything. He wouldn't report his father, he wouldn't even talk back to his father. It's a really interesting concept and I'm currently on 18988 words. I'm writing it on word so 31 word pages with font size 11 and font "New Times Roman"
I love that you love your stories so much and I'm excited to see what ideas get written and in the end published :) Cannot wait to read them! What I can say about writing is that every story has its own time until it's done. Some books need 13 drafts or more until they are ready to publish. So being patient and seeing how each project grows is hard to do, but definitely needed :) Sending you love and creative vibes
so cool to hear your ideas. love hearing about your projects. my current project is so fun, and i've rewritten it so many times since i started to find what setting fits the themes and plot best. it looks so different from how the idea looked when i first thought of it
Hi, Ana. I love, love this video and I have great ideas for my own TH-cam channel, so thanks for your help! Anyway, I have four completed writing projects and twenty-six that I want to write before I die. In total, I have thirty writing projects that I made a list of as the years go by and I'm just really excited to share them with you and other writers!
I voted for this on ur instapoll bcz besties just love to c ana talking abt her projects(esp project o)i risk my eyesight just to see what u have written on the screen(peekinng😂).
your voice is so soothing and I love listening about the novels you want to write about! (I want to read them all lol) I've been writing for years but I just never finish anything, sadly. But here are some novels I want to write before I die: 1. a 'twelve dancing princesses' tale with some (hopefully) serious twists. That's basically how I'd describe it. The six princesses have to retake their kingdom, while discovering the truth about their deceased mother, and avoiding close shaves with death. 2. a novel about the 'comfort women' in Asia during ww2. It's so tragic how these women were treated, and I want more people to know their tragic story.
I am in the process of making a three short story project too!! Heres my ramble about it, Okay the stories deal with The Past, The Present and The Future, one thing for each story. The Past deals with the MC caught up on the past, more of a sad, healing story. The present is where a different MC deals with the present in a bad way, like he is watching people live but he is dealing with stuff, its a sad story. Then the future is where another MC is looking forward to her future, a upliftung, inspiring story. All three stories will be connected. I really loved this idea when i first tought of it but writing can be so difficult. Its so hard to put your ideas into writing and have it be how you imagine. Then i have another book ill talk about! Okay this book deals with finding yourself/ purpose/your people. I thought about it when a student teacher was teaching me about Jazz. Im not going to get to in to it because its still in the brainstorming stage but its about a young Jazz pianist and a female jazz singer. It has romance in it but its not the main theme of the book :)
i love seeing your ideas and videos they give me so much inspiration to write my own stories( I have 2 books going on, plus 1 finished ) also could you maybe make a video about publishing your book and tips for that? just an idea :)
You are so inspiring! Love your books 😁😁 I'm only writing 1 book and it's basically abt a forensic scientist who talks to ghosts and yeah it's complicated 😅
This was really interesting because I have so many characters and themes I want to write about, but I can never come up with an actual plot that is unique and fun.
Im currently writing 4(?) books, but only two have been started Project potions (started last year for nano but only have 5k): a girl abandoned by her deity goes to a prestigious school for magic and accidental finds the banished god of penance Project k.m (current nano project): after being abused by his best friend, Luca and his mom move to Michigan and he meets a boy that teaches him people can love him and not hurt him Project c.k: years after the mc escapes the weird training program he was kidnapped and put into as a child, he finds vital information that could lead him back to the friends he promised to save Project l.s: just a cute sapphic romance about a rigid swimmer meeting a hedonistic lifeguard :)
WOW 13 books that’s amazing! A question is what is your advice on writing so many books? Cause I’m writing like so many and its kinda causing writer’s block 😅 how do I do it? But amazing 13 books and on a second draft? That’s so amazing!! I’m on my fourth draft and it takes a lot of perserveracnce but REALLY AMAZING Ana!! If you ever publish I want to read them!!
Woah! I've also been writing stories for a long time (ever since I was like 8, I fell in love with story-writing). And I want to ask if you guys would be interested in this new idea I have: Genre: Fantasy, survival, sci fi In this fantasy world, a new threat has appeared. Demon-like monsters that outbursted out of nowhere, hungry for human flesh. After an initial attack on the empire, the emperor announces that they will start to gather troops of men and women to defend the empire. As a head start, the emperor requires every aristocratic household to enlist at least one member, in hopes of encouraging the commoners to follow. On the surface, this might seem like a wise decision made to ensure the survival of the empire, but in reality, it is just another scheme created to weed out the nobles. In every house, there's always that one child, who just doesn't fit in and doesn't benefit the house at all. They constantly cause trouble and are disliked by the community. The emperor took this opportunity to enlist his second son, a prince not as brave as the first prince, not as intelligent as the first princess, and not as diplomatic as the third prince. All the nobles comply, as it is a win-win deal - they get to kick that one weed out of the way, get protection themselves, and look brave and patriotic. Soon, enough citizens have been gather, and they set off into the forests in their bright red cloaks (to attract the monsters), not knowing that they have signed up for death. The story follows Emilia, the unassuming illegitimate daughter of a fabulously rich count, who was forced to sign up for enlistment. When an attack from the monsters happens in their camp. Her and her squad (all enlisted soldiers are divided into squads of five) narrowly escape bloody death. But now they are lost in the forest, full of monsters. (So the rest is basically they manage to survive, find an seemingly abandoned hut that is actually one of the witch, and she takes them in as 'foster children'. They live well, until one of the squad members mysteriously disappears, and they have to find them. They discover that they were killed by these monsters... But next to the corpse, there were... Unnatural things/occurances..." Potential quotes I thought of: "You would think that, when their children settle off into the depths of death in their crimson cloaks, their families would pray for their return to safety, right? Well, they'll certainly be praying, praying for our deaths. Nobody wants children like us, that's why we're here." "[Insert name], we're not here to live, we're here to die. Enjoy your vacation while you're still alive."
Hi! Im only 11 and I think I will never be good enough to make my book idea so here it is! -2 sisters -a week before festival(dad comes back) -abusive mom -after the festival they figure out dad is dead The rest is up to u!
wait you should make gloomy and sunshine Scottish because James watt who basically fixed the steam engine and made it work better and and Alexzander graham bell created the telephone they were both Scottish also john logie was Scottish and he created the television
My books about random kids who were reborn from compost and have to convince the human race not to discover the immortality because it would throw off the cycle and ecosystem of life.
Ana, I have written many works in my time on this earth and I do appreciate your enthusiasm, but I believe you could use some guidance. Here's some advice. Make sure to work on one project at a time, this gives you mental space to develop your roadmap and have a clear view of how you want your story to go. Remember that it's ok if you don't like a decision, there's time to go back and change the path of the story. I'm sure you know that you need to break down your roadmap into scenes, so I will not get into that. I like your story about the conductor and the violinist, but after knowing you're writing not one, not two but eleven works at the same time makes me doubt the possible effort that can be put into them. Quality > quantity. One of the keys to writing great dialogue is this: Have a good understanding of your characters, then act out a scene as them. Talk as they would talk, go through your sentences that felt *right* and smooth. Great dialogue is not only made by great characters and writing, but also with meaning. This is not to say your dialogue cannot be "fluff", but if you're writing a scene with a villain like McCarthy does so well in Blood Meridian, make their dialogue mean something, get their intentions across. I'd like to show you a great part from Blood Meridian as an example: An enormous man dressed in an oilcloth slicker had entered the tent and removed his hat. He was bald as a stone and he had no trace of beard and he had no brows to his eyes nor lashes to them. He was close on to seven feet in height and he stood smoking a cigar even in this nomadic house of God and he seemed to have removed his hat only to chase the rain from it for now he put it on again. The reverend had stopped his sermon altogether. There was no sound in the tent. All watched the man. He adjusted the hat and then pushed his way forward as far as the crateboard pulpit where the reverend stood and there he turned to address the reverend's congregation. His face was serene and strangely childlike. His hands were small. He held them out. Ladies and gentlemen I feel it my duty to inform you that the man holding this revival is an imposter. He holds no papers of divinity from any institution recognized or improvised. He is altogether devoid of the least qualification to the office he has usurped and has only committed to memory a few passages from the good book for the purpose of lending to his fraudulent sermons some faint flavor of the piety he despises. In truth, the gentleman standing here before you posing as a minister of the Lord is not only totally illiterate but is also wanted by the law in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Arkansas. Oh God, cried the reverend. Lies, lies! He began reading feverishly from his opened bible. On a variety of charges the most recent of which involved a girl of eleven years said 뾋 eleven ho had come to him in trust and whom he was surprised in the act of violating while actually clothed in the livery of his God. A moan swept through the crowd. A lady sank to her knees. This is him, cried the reverend, sobbing. This is him. The devil. Here he stands. Let's hang the turd, called an ugly thug from the gallery to the rear. Not three weeks before this he was run out of Fort Smith Arkansas for having congress with a goat. Yes lady, that is what I said. Goat. Why damn my eyes if I wont shoot the son of a bitch, said a man rising at the far side of the tent, and drawing a pistol from his boot he leveled it and fired. ------------------------------ After this, chaos erupts in the sermons tent and afterwards, The Judge (the man introduced at the beginning who got the reverend killed) heads to a bar, and folk who were gathered in the sermon and saw the events also go into the same bar. The following scene, to me, is the best villain reveal in fiction. ------------------------------- The baldheaded man was already at the bar when they entered. On the polished wood before him were two hats and a double handful of coins. He raised his glass but not to them. They stood up to the bar and ordered whiskeys and the kid laid his money down but the barman pushed it back with his thumb and nodded. These here is on the judge, he said. They drank. The teamster set his glass down and looked at the kid or he seemed to, you couldnt be sure of his gaze. The kid looked down the bar to where the judge stood. The bar was that tall not every man could even get his elbows up on it but it came just to the judge's waist and he stood with his hands placed flatwise on the wood, leaning slightly, as if about to give another address. By now men were piling through the doorway, bleeding, covered in mud, cursing. They gathered about the judge. A posse was being drawn to pursue the preacher. Judge, how did you come to have the goods on that no-account? Goods? said the judge. When was you in Fort Smith? Fort Smith? Where did you know him to know all that stuff on him? You mean the Reverend Green? Yessir. I reckon you was in Fort Smith fore ye come out here. I was never in Fort Smith in my life. Doubt that he was. They looked from one to the other. Well where was it you run up on him? I never laid eyes on the man before today. Never even heard of him. He raised his glass and drank.

this other one has actually been getting on my nerves for a while even though it's probably my favourite one ever, it's about these two best friends stumbling upon this cool transportation device while they were searching for their other friend that disappeared about a year ago. the device actually leads to this whole planet called tyche that's been terraformed for a long time and now people live there. it's a pentology and it's basically about trying to keep the secret of the device secret from everyone else on earth while jumping back and forth between earth and tyche on all sorts of goofy adventures. (11 drafts so far, none of them were ever finished) it's fantasy but i'm always trying to make it realistic and even adding science aspects and i think that's why this project is kinda slacking,,,

Frick this needs so much context ILL BE BACK 😭😭
I love ur vids so much. Thank you for the motivation!
Loved all of them so much I’m gonna read them all they’re all so unique! Ur so creative I only have ideas for 2 books 😭
Yours sounds so cool 😭
the one I'm supposed to be writing right now (but I'm procrastionating) is called Childhood, and it's a wholesome young polyamourus love story kinda thing but the message of the story is to bring awareness to child abuse.
So being patient and seeing how each project grows is hard to do, but definitely needed :)
Sending you love and creative vibes
so cool to hear your ideas. love hearing about your projects. my current project is so fun, and i've rewritten it so many times since i started to find what setting fits the themes and plot best. it looks so different from how the idea looked when i first thought of it
I'm just excited about ALL of them😊
I literally just had this little note thing on the side to take notes this whole video lmao
your voice is so soothing and I love listening about the novels you want to write about! (I want to read them all lol)
I've been writing for years but I just never finish anything, sadly. But here are some novels I want to write before I die:
1. a 'twelve dancing princesses' tale with some (hopefully) serious twists.
Heres my ramble about it,
Okay the stories deal with The Past, The Present and The Future, one thing for each story.
If project fly comes out before the Nightwalkers duology, I'll use that comb title. We love and need more dystopian books.
You are so inspiring! Love your books 😁😁
I'm only writing 1 book and it's basically abt a forensic scientist who talks to ghosts and yeah it's complicated 😅
i love your videos sm, they're my go-to writing inspo
wwwoooah - this is so cool 🥹
This was really interesting because I have so many characters and themes I want to write about, but I can never come up with an actual plot that is unique and fun.
Im currently writing 4(?) books, but only two have been started
Project potions (started last year for nano but only have 5k): a girl abandoned by her deity goes to a prestigious school for magic and accidental finds the banished god of penance
Project k.m (current nano project): after being abused by his best friend, Luca and his mom move to Michigan and he meets a boy that teaches him people can love him and not hurt him
Project c.k: years after the mc escapes the weird training program he was kidnapped and put into as a child, he finds vital information that could lead him back to the friends he promised to save
Project l.s: just a cute sapphic romance about a rigid swimmer meeting a hedonistic lifeguard :)
You can do it. I already have six finished and complete novels and have 16 started total(including the completed) so it's totally possible.
If you ever publish I want to read them!!
here are mine
Love your vids so much ana!! ☺ How do you decide what project you want to work on at a given time? Thanks so much!! 💕💫
Omg her accent ♥️♥️
"it's the first straight romance i wrote...lol it's not straight" 💀💀that cracked me up. Love your videos
fr though like i have 4 books going on at the same time as a writer its hard to manage one book i cant keep the ideas in my head!
bro iwant to read them all
Love thissss
Woah! I've also been writing stories for a long time (ever since I was like 8, I fell in love with story-writing). And I want to ask if you guys would be interested in this new idea I have:
Genre: Fantasy, survival, sci fi
In this fantasy world, a new threat has appeared.
Unnatural things/occurances..."
Potential quotes I thought of:
"You would think that, when their children settle off into the depths of death in their crimson cloaks, their families would pray for their return to safety, right? Well, they'll certainly be praying, praying for our deaths. Nobody wants children like us, that's why we're here."
"[Insert name], we're not here to live, we're here to die. Enjoy your vacation while you're still alive."
I'm writing 3 and planning the other 3. ❤
Hi! Im only 11 and I think I will never be good enough to make my book idea so here it is!

-a week before festival(dad comes back)
-abusive mom
-after the festival they figure out dad is dead
The rest is up to u!
Making out in a vintage store? As soon as that's released I'm on it.
Project Ghost gave me inheritance games vibes at the beginning
ooooo
Project 7 sounds like a mix between Robin Hood and The Hunger Games
oooo👀👀
Just a question. I’m writing my own story but I’m unsure how long it has to be to be considered a story. How long do you think a book should be?
If you’re talking about a novel, then in my opinion it should be 300-500 pages long.
I enjoyed this video❤. Will you do another video where you read some of your followers stories? I would definitely love to share mine 🥹
when ur a famous author i will flex that i watched u before u got famous 😎
FIIRRSSSTT!! Hi Ana~♡

My books about random kids who were reborn from compost and have to convince the human race not to discover the immortality because it would throw off the cycle and ecosystem of life.
"lol, it's not straight"
One of the keys to writing great dialogue is this:
Have a good understanding of your characters, then act out a scene as them.
I'd like to show you a great part from Blood Meridian as an example:
An enormous man dressed in an oilcloth slicker had entered the tent
and removed his hat. He was bald as a stone and he had no trace of beard and he had
no brows to his eyes nor lashes to them. He was close on to seven feet in height and
he stood smoking a cigar even in this nomadic house of God and he seemed to have
removed his hat only to chase the rain from it for now he put it on again.
The reverend had stopped his sermon altogether. There was no sound in the tent. All
watched the man. He adjusted the hat and then pushed his way forward as far as the
crateboard pulpit where the reverend stood and there he turned to address the
reverend's congregation. His face was serene and strangely childlike. His hands were
small. He held them out.
Ladies and gentlemen I feel it my duty to inform you that the man holding this revival
is an imposter. He holds no papers of divinity from any institution recognized or
improvised. He is altogether devoid of the least qualification to the office he has
usurped and has only committed to memory a few passages from the good book for the
purpose of lending to his fraudulent sermons some faint flavor of the piety he despises.
In truth, the gentleman standing here before you posing as a minister of the Lord is not
only totally illiterate but is also wanted by the law in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky,
Mississippi, and Arkansas.
Oh God, cried the reverend. Lies, lies! He began reading feverishly from his opened
bible.
On a variety of charges the most recent of which involved a girl of eleven years said 뾋
eleven ho had come to him in trust and whom he was surprised in the act of violating
while actually clothed in the livery of his God.
A moan swept through the crowd. A lady sank to her knees.
This is him, cried the reverend, sobbing. This is him. The devil. Here he stands.
Let's hang the turd, called an ugly thug from the gallery to the rear.
Not three weeks before this he was run out of Fort Smith Arkansas for having congress
with a goat. Yes lady, that is what I said. Goat.
Why damn my eyes if I wont shoot the son of a bitch, said a man rising at the far side
of the tent, and drawing a pistol from his boot he leveled it and fired.
------------------------------
After this, chaos erupts in the sermons tent and afterwards, The Judge (the man introduced at the beginning who got the reverend killed) heads to a bar, and folk who were gathered in the sermon and saw the events also go into the same bar.
The following scene, to me, is the best villain reveal in fiction.
-------------------------------
The baldheaded man was already at the bar when they entered.
On the polished wood before him were two hats and a double handful of coins. He
raised his glass but not to them.
They stood up to the bar and ordered whiskeys and
the kid laid his money down but the barman pushed it back with his thumb and
nodded. These here is on the judge, he said.
They drank. The teamster set his glass down and looked at the kid or he seemed to,
you couldnt be sure of his gaze. The kid looked down the bar to where the judge stood.
The bar was that tall not every man could even get his elbows up on it but it came
just to the judge's waist and he stood with his hands placed flatwise on the wood,
leaning slightly, as if about to give another address.
