I was stuck on writing a short story... got so wound up, spent a couple of evenings just sat in front of the screen trying to focus... got up to read a book instead and before I'd finished the first page, I knew where I needed to go with the short story. Sometimes just taking the pressure off with something else lets your mind work on your story in the background
..Write the first and last chapter first.. that sounds so genius!!

I keep rewriting the same chapter. I've rewritten it five times but never gotten close to finishing the first chapter. I feel so excited about writing it. But soon as I look at what I've gotten so far I soon feel like it isn't good enough it feels like I'm filling scenes in tell I can get to the more important parts. I hate that I keep repeating the same process even when I've watched multiple TH-cam videos by a variety of different creators. I'm stuck. I need please help
If you like it as you’re writing it, then you should trust that it’s good. Don’t second guess yourself, and just move on to the next chapter. I had the same problem when I first started writing, and I promise it will get better.💕💕

A lot of the questions in this video made me realize how much things I did intuitively without realizing. Like balancing writing and school. I did my assignments at school, and writing my book at home. It wasn’t until now that I realized I had been doing that though.
