I have rewatched Moon Embracing The Sun. I still weep buckets each time I watch. One of the best endings of Korean historical dramas! The sweetest and the happiest one! 💗Never disappointed me. It is one of my top favorite historical dramas, indeed. I love the actor the most! The acting prowess is indeed so amazing! KSH is one of the best actors. No wonder he’s one of the top most paid Korean actors! It is highly recommended and worth to watch and rewatch! 💗 Moon Embracing The Sun, Princess Hours, Love in the Moonlight and other best classic Historical dramas are unforgettable! I love the old Kdramas.
The way he pulls her in towards himself just makes watching the whole series worth it. And the way he asks him what her name is, and she answers.... like finally, we get to see them be truly happy.
One of the most beautiful and enjoyable series i have seen . The sub titles in English were awesome and perfect. Kudos to the team for excellent translation of the Korean drama. I loved all the characters. And the suspence was mind blowing. 💐💐
ㄹㅇ 전혀 다르긴 함 한가인이 수묵화로 그린 듯한 진하고 또렷하게 화려한 미녀라면 김유정은 진짜 아예 정반대로 하늘하늘하고 유려한 선으로 그린 미인이라.. 그냥 분위기 자체도 180도 다름 차라리 김소현 쪽이 한가인을 훨씬 닮았어 근데 김유정 자체가 워낙 좀 유니크하게 생긴 도화상(설리같이) 미인이라 닮은 배우 찾기도 힘들었을 듯
During the entire drama,I felt bad for prince yang.I mean from starting, he was my favorite character.It was so unfair.Neither did he get any rights as a prince,his fathers love, power and stuff nor did he get the girl.And even was killed at last.IT WAS JUST SO UNFAIR..I MEAN I FELT LIKE THROWING MY PHONE.

I wish they made her character a bit more lively. She reacts so woodenly and walks around comatosed and meeting most questions directed at her with near-psychotic wide doe-eyed stares and silence. I'm not talking about the actress but her character she's playing. I suppose she's meant to be the calm moon to his passionate sun, but did they have to make her character so devoid of personality?
If by "devoid of personality" you mean the fact that she's clearly very introverted... I have to say I disagree. She isn't the typical cheerful main female character.
The OST to this drama is absolutely beautiful. It's in my Top-5 favorite CD's that I own. This drama was so fantastic, that I bought the DVD's. They came straight from So. Korea with English subtitles, and it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. I must've watched this drama from start to finish, at least 25 times by now. Excellent, excellent drama and acting.
The Moon That Embraces The Sun recorded a 42.5 percent viewership rating in South Korea for its final episode broadcasted in 2012. There is nothing underrated about that when one consders that most Kdrama tv series do not event reach a 20 percent rating viewership when aired in South Korea.
I rewatched moon embracing the sun, queen love and war, Dong yi, yi san, Yanxi palace, general and I recently for the 6th or whatever time. If I can't find something I love rewatching oldies..
