yes this is a good way but unfortunately all the beauty in sl and else where cant always help because so many countries citizens dont have enough money due to the high cost of living everywhere let alone for a holiday and far away .
He keeps on asking people for the mature coconut that doesn't have any water unnecessarily. It is a wastage of the coconut eatable portion that they use for cooking.
Of course YES ! A gentlemen who has a clear vision of what he is doing. #LK #Srilanka Government should appreciate influencers like Mr.Davud.

it’s nice to see the Sri Lankan local people don’t wanna rip-off the tourists as in some other Asian countries. That poor man said NO when you give him 5000 LKR.

Honesty is from religion teaching. To fear God only.
But actually on the other side it is a big big mistake I think to gave money for everyone. This is not the way how to solve problems. As a digital nomad traveller and not from America I for example don't have a lot of money. It is important for the situation.
In Bali in Vietnam and also here in Sri Lanka ( I live here for 6 month now ) so many times the locals want to rip-off us because they see yeah he is white he is tourist he must have money.
Behavior like this (giving money for locals, just because why not and giving extremly high tips, like last video of Davud where the drink was only 200 and he gave 1000) is really not good in a long term.
I was in a situation when we were arrived to a hotel. An american guy infront of me just tipd 15$ to the guy who carreid his bag from the room which was like 20m away.
Then the guy came to us picked up our bag even when we sad we don't need it, took the bag to the room and after that asked for money. When I gave him a little he sad it is not enough.
Tuktuk drivers almost always want to ask double or tripple price because so many tourist pays them the extra.
In a long term this will just hit up the prices everywhere, neverless makes people life a bit unpleasent to always argue with the drivers so on so one why it is not far to ask 15$ for a 20 meter walk.
So I really against what Davud and some other youtubers doing here.
There are many other ways to help a country economy. And for example Davud school project is one of them and I can relate to that project of his.
@@Wathfea I understand your point. He gave direct charity to kind folks. Honest people. Do not give to cab or bell boy as they hv paid salary.
@@Wathfea i can see your point too . i wondered if it also has something to do with impressing sri lankan people some showing off and reaching more subs etc even though it is also meant well . as you say than a normal tip is not good enough .
@@sweeta17 yeah. And as you can see in the comments all sri lankan people say, he is an angel, etc. Of course because he is giving money them.
Anyhow, don't take it a wrong way, I'm not against Davud as he is a very kind and genuine person who I'm 100% just want to help.
Only the way how he is doing it, sometimes maybe not the best way.
For example instead of giving one kind people X amount of money, go to the village kade, buy rice and flour and pol in a huge amount from that money then invite the villagers to share across them.
Again, want to be clear. Davud is a great guy, who loves Sri Lanka and want the best, I just not think to spoil the people here is the good way, but maybe I'm wrong. @Davud_Akh

Sri Lanka is better than Bali because its untouched and easily you can find a beach with no people ,Fruits and hospitality is beating .Sri Lanka is wild and simple .Tour guides and guesthouse hotel owners are very helpful and the things come to you very easy .Being in too countries -indonesia ,Sri Lanka and islands i can say that Sri Lanka can beat Bali very easily

Dear Davuud. We watch all your posts about Sri Lanka, very beautiful. We lived there for 15 years and miss the life there. You are right about your attitude towards tourism there. One thing, if you don't mind, I want to suggest to you. Whenever you so generously support the local people, especially in the villages, please give the money to the ladies, not to the guys, because a lot of the guys might spent it for alcohol , that is a waste. The ladies spent it for food and the family. We love, what you do. Take care, success with your future projects, the school, and stay fine.

**That drink that you drink is not tea. That is 'Belimal' , the flowers of Aegle Marmelos tree. That is so healthy think. And 'Ranwara mal' , the flowers of Senna Auriculata is also such a great drink.
In adition, Sri Lanka has so many healthy and delicious drinks and porridges, starting from "Kola kanda' to different different porridges making from traditional rice. (Not normal rices, there have more beneficial rice species which call as 'Al rice'. You should defenetly try them. ♥

The people of Sri Lanka live in "God's little plot". Nature embraces them and the people love and purify themselves from nature. "Man is but the imprint of his native landscape" Shaul Tchernihovski. Tourists will learn very quickly that such wondrous beauty cannot be spoiled. Hopefully the signage warning the tourist about littering and the punishment behind it will do its job. Sri Lanka was blessed with natural and dreamy beauty, its people grew "like flowers and trees", beautiful, strong and full of life - nature adopted and preserved them.🌳🌹🌳🌹🌳

You are a true lover of SriLanka and its people. Btw i am bit surprised for you not using Google translator to communicate with village people. Just type in the mobile and show the sinhala translation to village man/woman and they can easily read it. There is high literacy rate among my fellow lankans. Try it
