I have vivid memories of the horrors we suffered during this period. I was only 8 years old but I remember it well. These were sadistic murderers that's why so traumatic. It caused a lot of divide they sure divided tribes in Matebeleland. Neighbours were being encouraged to report any Ndebeles speaking families whom they thought were suspicious whether innocent or not. History, has a way of correcting itself. God will surely have his day, to deal with these atrocities. We are trying hard to let go of the past. Hatred is not the solution.
