    It took me about 2 months to make it, but it was so worth it. I made mine with indigo blue as the primary color, and white for the sleeves and trim, and I've gotten so many compliments on it. THANK YOU for not only making this pattern free, but making it super easy to follow for those who are beginners. Highly recommend doing this pattern!

    I just want to say something : i'm beyond grateful for you. You're sharing your (mindblowing) talent and creativity with us in such a detailed step-by-step tutorial (the best one i've ever seen), and for free, making it SO accessible, and this reflects such a kind-hearted soul 💕 will definitely attempt to create this, even though it would be my first crochet project !

For reference, I am a 5,11" female around 135 lbs, I crocheted 26 rows per hexagon and lengthened the sleeves 11 rows instead of 8, it fits perfect. However, the length could be extended even more as it sits right at the hips, but I love it that way. Thanks again:)

    • @daylahanh
      @daylahanh  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! Yes, it’s a great question! There’s usually a recommended hook size for every weight of yarn, and in this case i used a bigger hook size for my yarn to achieve the draping effect and lightweight feel of the final product. If you want the same effect, you can use the same weight category (or check length/weigh ratio that i mentioned in the materials section of the video for reference), if you want your garment to be thicker and warmer, you can use a 1 weight higher (thicker yarn) 🫶 feel free to ask more if something wasn’t quite clear!

    Can someone tell if I want to increase the length of the cardigan how to do it cuz if I increase the number of rows this will affect the length of the sleeves also and affect the whole sizing of it
    If I want to make it neer knee length for example how to do it?

    • @daylahanh

      After joining to pieces with your desired sleeve length, you are going to crochet from one corner to another to work the length of the torso by making the granny clusters

    Would you ever consider providing the option of a written pattern PDF for purchase? I'm an advanced crocheter but I can't cope with video/visual patterns. I prefer reading and not having to pause a video everytime I need to think 😅🫣 I would love to make this Kimono and pay for a PDFpattern option.

    as someone who has never done it, its so crazy to wrap my head around crocheting. at least with sewing pieces of cloth together it seems straightforward cus you can easily visualize each piece, but then you get to crocheting and you make it all with only a string and the proportions are eyeballed in your head- this skill is always gonna blow my mind
