Good timing. My drivers side front just went out 😁 Also what color is your LC. I've been strongly considering painting mine destroyer gray and yours looks great
@@mlinder2000 both are good option in my option. Recommend checking out macco's commercial (same paint used for fedex and ups trucks) paint jobs if your looking for durable but cost manageable options.
@@OverlandTrax heck yeah. Thanks for the tip. I've about given up on painting it because I was worried about Maaco/Econopaint durability and didn't want to pay 10k for a top end job
Back is about the same to do. Follow this video, and take out any other screws you see on the door card before removing it. I believe there is a plastic clip that pulls straight out in the door somewhere. If you’re replacing with OEM, this won’t be a problem, but when I upgraded my speakers in the back to JBLs, I had to widen the hole behind the speaker grill slightly.
Thanks for watching! Any 6.5 speakers will do, here is a link for the ones I used on amazon: www.amazon.com/Polk-Audio-DB651-Discontinued-Manufacturer/dp/B000P0PF9G
Watched your video twice, went out to the garage and had my '04 LC door card off in under 5 minutes. YOU ROCK!!!
Glad to hear it helped! Cheers!
Do you have a video for the Sub? the subwoofer in the back of my 100 series is blown
Does the Metra 72-8104 Speaker Wire Adapters fit? Amazon listing says they are not compatible for 1999 Land Cruisers?
Thanks for watching! According to Metra's website it should work. www.metraonline.com/part/72-8104
The link to Amazon's wire adapter says it doesn't fit my '02 TLC, should I just ignore and order?

Do you know the factory speaker size for front door speakers on 1999 prado j90 landcruiser?
I do not, thanks for watching!
Did you have a problem with the screw holes not lining up with adapter?
have you done the rear subwoofer as well
I did not, I ended up putting a drawer system in the back that would have negated any subwoofer upgrade
What tail lights are those?
They are aftermarket, don't recommend using them; ended up putting OEM back on later
I want to try this but I cannot find the speakers.
