One of my focus is...I reaaaaaally like the way you speak!!! The choice of words, the intonation and the SPEED, truly foreigner-friendly😂 I can use your vid as perfect dictation materials haha☺️
Honestly this is crazy I remeber when I was an 11 year old watching her get into Cambridge and now I’m a 16 year old who’s got GCSES and she’s got a job this is just gobsmacking the journey you’ve taken and how far you’ve come
AMAZING AS ALWAYS ✨ You are my source of inspiration. Your organisation and your words push me to work harder and to achieve my goals. this remarkable girl is always able to give me strength!
Paige, your office space looks very nice and well-organized. I find it easier to take notes on a piece of paper than in the computer because I find it easier for me to look at them all the time, memorize the facts, and absorb them.
I clicked so fast haha! Love you Paige and thank you for sharing your journey with us. Your videos got me through my 3rd year in college and I'm so grateful. Enjoy your new work space!
Such an amazing work setup... I'm sure it really boosts your efficiency. Your videos really helped me identify how I need to work hard and try to achieve my goals. Thanks a lot Paige, I'll be waiting for your next video.
She just has perfect workplace that I personally would dream of. I also love the way you make your video highly engaged with viewers. ❤️ from Malaysia 🇲🇾
If you want to transition to digital notes id highly recommend getting an iPad!! Ive been using my iPad for notes/lectures/worksheets since first year uni and its the perfect blend between digital and handwritten :)
When I saw ur planner I thought to ask in the comments whether it's fr om ruby Granger but you told it. I never thought u will make a desktour. Nice video
I have a similar Dell monitor and laptop! You can sneak the cords connected to the monitor through the hole on the monitor stand, makes the wires more bundled together and out of the way 🥰
What an exciting new chapter of life, that you seem to be taking on with characteristic charm and positivity! Here's wishing you much success in your career and in life.
I admire the way your set-up is so clean and uncluttered! It probably allows you to achieve mindfulness or flow at work or something like that in organizational psychological lingo. 🙃🙂💼
Hey Page, As already mentioned keeping the laptop plugged in all the time will kill the battery. As a former IT support person, my advice is to use the laptop once a month on battery power to allow it to go through a charge cycle. Also it was funny how you said you cannot give any information on the specs of the laptop as you have no clue!
Yes I did wonder about impact on battery - that is good advice! In the office I know the norm was always to keep them plugged in but will definitely unplug from time to time
Definitely my favorite study-work focused youtuber! I really get very motivated after your videos. 🥰 I'm currently 3rd year college student and I do study online. Your videos really get handy especially during pandemic time to get motivated. Weekly videos are just perfect 👌🏻❤
Hey Paige! I'm working from home right now too, thanks for your video it is so useful and inspiring. Cant wait to see more videos relating to your job or Cambridge life.
Sorry but that is only recommended for mobile phones and tablets. Not only will this be inconvenient but it will drain the battery quicker as the battery will lose more capacity through charge cycles than by being kept on full charge. Dell laptops will have a feature that will stop the battery from being constantly on charge if it is full. That is probably what you may be thinking will happen with a Dell laptop. It still needs to be run off battery power maybe once a month to allow regular charge cycles to retain battery health.
With newer laptops that have lithium polymer or lithium ion batteries it's no longer as big of a deal as it used to be. However, Paige should go to Dell's Power Manager app and click on "Primarily AC use" and then she'll be more than safe with the life of her battery even if plugged in 24/7.
Thanks for posting this. I have a smaller version of the table in my home office setup - bought because I wanted space 😀 I have also now ordered a stand for my laptop
Nice workspace! To be honest, I am a bit jealous of your set up. My boyfriend and I have also been working from home, but we live in a small apartment so we switch between working in the bedroom or on the kitchen table. I envy your window and your space haha. But also: I am happy for you! And I wish you all the best with your new job. And I already know you’re going to ace these actuarial exams: you are so smart AND a hard worker. You’re quite remarkable really. Thank you for the video! 😄
I like this desk tour - I agree written notes are so much better but then I do a lot of typed notes as well. I am going to be writing out a help document saved as a pdf on 'How to touch type?' if anyone would like a copy when I have finished please let me know. Hope your new job is going well and that you pick the correct units for your course?
Hi Paige. Your desk setup is amazing. I am also an actuarial student and a youtuber and I agree with you on the typing versus hand writing speed. I recently made a video on my channel on how to improve your typing speed especially fot your exams.
Paige reminds me of my older cousin on my dads side. They look similar and they act the same too as she was dedicated to her work when she was in Uni a few years ago
Hi Paige. I bought an iPad and an Apple Pencil and I take handwritten on it, either on a blank page or on top of slides that were distributed to me before a meeting for example. It saves me from having to organise and look through tons of paper notes.
@@PaigeY yesss! i have been watching you since i was 11 (when you started your uni vlogs) im 14 now and even the thought of you moving away from home is scary because im so used to you being at uni!
Hey Paige I understand the struggle with always having a battery, but if your laptop is constantly plugged in it is damaging to the battery! Just a heads up, you can look into it :)
I'm starting my PhD and I'm setting up my own working space at home. I wanted to buy the same chair as yours from Ikea. Do you find it comfortable, despite what your mom says?
Hi Paige.....very inspiring video content as always.....One thing I am curious to know......you mentioned that your duty hours are during daytime, so nowadays which time do you study? Are you studying in the evening?
Currently not studying and enjoying the break! But will start studying for exams again next month, mostly during the day to start off with but likely in the evening and at weekends as well when it gets close to exams!

Beautiful!!!! 💛 Also as an non-native English speaker your accent is GOALS!
Keeping the laptop always plugged in and charging will kill the battery... your more likely to have a disaster. Keep the charge between 40-80%
That is so important. But many people do not seem to know this.
There goes another expert giving advice👍
Sorry but that is only recommended for mobile phones and tablets.

Corinne Simpson she’s using Dell and computers that ‘function’, do you really think she’s tech savvy? But good point.
