I have a soft spot for St John's. A friend of mine is doing a PhD there and I visited him often. I attended a fabulous, magical May Ball there, more than a few formals and had even taken my graduation pictures at Johns too. The wedding cake is the most iconic architecture in Cambridge, alongside Corpus Christi's main building and King's College Chapel. I'd been to the library at night, and didn't realise what a stunning view it commands! Btw is your friend a postgrad who'd studied at Yale?
You made so many wonderful memories there! And the view from the library is fantastic indeed! Yes, my friend is a postgrad who did his undergrad at Yale - the interview with him is coming soon! I asked a lot about the differences between studying at Ivy League and Oxbridge - stay tuned :)
