    Hello! I am a bit late to this video, but I've had a hunch about having a posterior pelvic tilt, and this video really resonated with me. I love the way you talk about this issue, and how optimistic you sound compared to some of the other TH-cam channel hosts :')
    I do have a question - you've mentioned that it's good to see where and how your body reacts to a differently angled pelvis. I've noticed that my lowers back start hurting immediately after going into an anterior till, even slightly in a neutral one. Do you perhaps have any exercises to recommend, or physical activities in general? My posture is quite bad, most likely related to this issue, and I'm tired of accepting it and not doing anything about it, so any tips would be great.

    I can’t believe you don’t have more likes this is great information. I have a ppt no pain but definitely a bad deep core because I have a prolapse. What do you recommend to fix this? I am doing kegels and working my core.

    • @docjenfit
      @docjenfit  ปีที่แล้ว

      There is definitely a lot that can be done to help better coordinate this deep core with the pelvic floor. It's tough to give specific exercises, but working on exercises that help you both elongate and strengthen the pelvic floor and then work on coordinating that with our breath and functional motion is a great start!

    Posterior pelvic tilt would be accompanied with loss of lumbar lordosis and flat thoracic? What can help?

    • @docjenfit
      @docjenfit  ปีที่แล้ว

      You could definitely try some of the suggestions in this post! However, the structure isn't as important as how you function within it. If you feel functional and no symptoms, you may not need to worry about it. However, checking the mobility of the hips and upper back could help as we tend to compensate through the spine with restrictions there.

    I have troubles emptying my bladder with a posterior tilt. I have to keep doing frequent visits to the washroom. Its make me lose the glow of my face and i am losing weight on the face. No one believes i am sick because my health reports say i am fine. Is there a way to urinate with posterior tilt? Is this a issue you’ve heard of before?

    • @docjenfit
      @docjenfit  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I guess it is hard to say specifically but it could have more to do with how your pelvic floor is operating. Check this video out: th-cam.com/video/F44x64jKDMo/w-d-xo.html

    This totally screwed me up, in all the way she explains. I had tension in my lower ribs from breathing in that area all the time, my pelvic floor got really tight and my lower back was really painful. I got rid of it by doing core exercises whilst holding the curvature in my lower back that I don’t have, I had lots of strength to be able to do theses exercises so I realized I had just developed a really bad habit.
    I wear a back brace that keeps my shoulders back and my lower back arched and the combination of those and the exercises gave me instant relief, I was told I have no L5-S1 and needed a disc replacement, I found this strange as I had no sciatic pain or weakness in legs, adjusting my posture gave me a 0/10 lower back pain and my pelvic floor tension. And bladder tension has gone away 90%.

      I have bladder tension too. For one year i am constantly having bladder spasms, overacting bladder, frequent urinatation, incomplete bladder emptying. I have lost all the glow on my face, did this symptoms happen to you too?

    • @81mccabe58
      @81mccabe58 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Lazymath007_ hey, I did not have any issues emptying etc, all I had was tension in the lower abs and one side of my pelvic floor. Over time I have gotten rid of that with core exercising and free weight squats and really working on releasing the lower abdomen then working it’s out 5 days a week.
      Enlarged prostate is what I was told would cause what you have. I fortunately have no issues there.

    Can posterior pelvic tilt causes Incontinence urine?

    • @docjenfit
      @docjenfit  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There really isn't anything that we can say "causes" incontinence directly, but pelvic positioning can relate to our core and pelvic floor muscle coordination. Maybe check out our Pelvic Floor Foundations course. You can get a discount too with code OPTIMAL: jen.health/pelvicfloor

    Is it possible that posterior pelvic tilt can make your stomach bloat during the day? I experience a lot of bloating every single day and I'm thinking it could be related to pelvic tilt..
    And another question, can you have both anterior and posterior pelvic tilt at the same time? I literally switch between those two at all times and I don't think I'm ever in a neutral position

    • @docjenfit
      @docjenfit  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I've never heard of a correlation between pelvic tilt and bloating. However, people can definitely switch between anterior or posterior pelvic tilt based on what position you might be in or what activity you are doing. It's also not about having neutral pelvis, but about finding control through any range you might be in.

      Personally, I experienced swelling and difficulty breathing, and in the end I discovered that the cause was a curvature in the upper back and a curvature in the lower back, to the point of protruding buttocks. Be upright for a day and you will see the difference.

    • @anticringe0
      @anticringe0 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, posterior pelvic tilt or swayback posture is linked with the protruding abdomen combined with overactive rectus abdominis muscle.
