Okay to clear confusion - yes this is technically the Caro Kann but my opponent plays it in the French manner which means I play my gambit setup in a setup against the French - hence the title. Sorry for any confusion :)

@@virno69420 seaking from my experience no increment is horrible. getting a winning position and then losing on time doesnt feel good.

​@@RedHammer813If you didnt consider your time usage the position wasn't actually winning. It sounds like you should play more without increment if you often find yourself losing on time to practice time management.

tbf I just suck at time management so I'm hoping no increment games will force me to think quicker when it gets to crunch time
