"Admissable in court" and how an organization can use a polygraph are very different. The world of law has a much higher standard for locking someone up for 20 years than disqualifying someone for a the outcome of a tournament. I'm glad they use them from time to time, obviously its easy to skirt the standards, but something is better than nothing.
Poly's are needed to keep everyone on a level playing field. My big question is what in the hell are you doing with that big azz coffin on the top of your truck. 😁
We will always need them, and keeps things in check and I have done many of them as well and np, your right atleast two hrs even we get that up here in Ontario
the only thing that i hear and see on social media is on the lakes by me (which are hartwell and lanier ) bigtime tournament locations ... is there is tournament guys booking trips with local guides ... the guides will not post pictures of thier faces holding the fish

DC I used to fish a lot of small tournaments here on lake Martin and I had to take a polygraph once. I was so nervous but after getting started it was all good. You know if you don’t have anything to hide you don’t have anything to worry about. Be safe and win alot
I’ve taken one polygraph in my life and it was for a job I applied for back in 1985, when that was the norm. If you have nothing to hide, you WILL pass. Always live with integrity and moral values, you will go far in whatever you pursue. Thanks for the vlog. Huge fan, but polygraphs are beatable. They do deter most people from cheating so I think its a great idea for the sport but theres a reason when cheaters get caught by the polygraph and then sue the trail for prizes they say they won, they usually win in court.

I have been in Customer Service for 37 years and a Fisherman for 43 years. If I thought you were a cheat, I would of smelled it a mile off. Just call that the Aussie polygraph 🇦🇺
I want you to know that there is no such thing as a "high quality" polygraph test... and you have to understand what that guys job is. Of course he told you he teaches people how to read them... THATS part of the test Dustin lol he is setting the grounds for you mentally to feel like okay you cant try and "beat" him. I've seen lots and lots of interrogations and telling the person that is about to take the test that they have like this enormous ability to read the tests is SO common. Ur right the test is measuring every little thing about you, but they also have to establish a "base." I'm sure he asked you some questions that were easy to answer right? Then he probably asked you some that were suppose to be a little harder. A polygraph doesn't prove anything... it just proves that you solicited a reaction when asked questions. But you can be not guilty and still give a reaction. Happens all the time, friend. Polygraphs arent even admissible in court as evidence. It just so happens to be that ur organization accepts it as undisputable evidence I guess? I mean what happens exactly if you fail? Are you out for an entire season? For life? It's actually really scary that they even make you guys do that let alone take it to heart to possibly destroy peoples careers. If anything you guys should be really against it. Were talking about fishing here but how would you feel if you knew all of this now and were asked to take one for murder?! Bro, any person that has dedicated their lives to reading polygraph tests is an idiot. There is just no actual deeming evidence there that convicts you of doing something wrong. How do they know you dont just feel SO strongly about cheating that when you are asked about it you immediately get fired up... them asking you a question like were you born in 1990? Isn't going to illicit the same response. You can also do stuff like pinch urself or curled ur toes really hard during the baseline and skew it... giving urself a "buffer" in your responses. juuuuust saying lol but hey I'm only a 4 year biology major... what do I know.. lol

The steroids don't help you catch 10 lbers but it sure makes holding up a limit of 10s with one hand easier.
