I love Tom. He doesn't say much, but when he does it's fucking savage.
I also feel like if you have a personal problem, he's the guy you go to for both consolation and to take action.
Unwritten rules of Coup: Everyone is a Duke the first round. If someone takes just 1 coin first round, they have an Assassin.
2: No one calls you out for bluffing Ambassador
3: whenever you block a captain, you claim it's an ambassador

Coup is one of the games where I wish the BGA logs were less detailed. I prefer the fuzziness of having to remember what people have claimed previously rather than having the ability to scroll through to see all their previous turns
It's to his credit that Sully is so chill. I would not have been chill in his shoes.
I've been waiting for Coup. One of my favorites to play. The Reformation expansion makes for EVEN MORE chaos and fun
The phrase "Kiss my grits!" was used so often, I started to wonder if this channel is now sponsored by the Quaker cereal company.
Going by the BGC lore, this arc seems to be dedicated to Tom's silent rage and despair after the crash of the Tully ship and his redemption by becoming the most ruthless Coup player in the room XD

Woo! Coup was the game that got me into the boardgaming community.
I played coup throughout high school. My friend group loved it. It was amazing and I need to get a set for myself. There was also an other pack that had another character in it and more coins. One of my favorite board games ever. We even had a league that was going to start at the school where I wrote an entire set of rules that they had to follow along with the actual rules. Unfortunately the pandemic didn’t let us get by the first week.

Coup is the game that started my love of social deception games, helped my find the best group of friends I’ve ever had and really made the last few years of my life invaluable. It has the specialist of places in my heart. Such a wonderful game and I utterly adore it.

I love this game, my friends and I would play a few rounds and then do what we called a chaos round where we don’t look at our cards before we start so we bluff and don’t even know what we have

Its a Friday coup! One of my very favourite games played by the the finest cast of kick ass dukes. I'm looking forward to the reformation follow up where sully plays the inquisitor with the voice of Alan Rickman!
I kind of forgot this game existed since I first saw Wil Wheaton and co play it years ago. I think I now know what my next game purchase is

If you don't have a duke, it's really hard to win this game. You can also bluff you have the duke, which is how to play, but 50% of the time all the dukes are already out and someone will call you out on it.

This game is super cheap, and you should buy it, but also you can play this game with a regular deck of cards

@@KrazyRex I tried the implementation on there earlier, it's pretty smooth though I'll be honest I prefer the Batman version with points scored for correctly using the Guard/Batman card

@@KrazyRex It may be out of print, there is an Infinity Gauntlet game which is a 1 vs many game based on Love Letter, but I've not played it to give you a comparison

This is probably one of the worst games played in this series ngl imo, seems like there are many scenarios where you’re just screwed and nothing you can do. That being said had some really amazing comedic scenes in this episode that I loved
