The Millennium Tower was where Kiryu’s journey began. Before there was tower, there was a patch of dirt called the Empty Lot, where Kiryu was framed for murder by the Dojima Family in an effort to oust Kazama from the position of Captain. Nearly 40 years later, it’s only fitting that Kiryu’s last hurrah takes place at the building where many of his legendary battles took place.

A dev implied that in this scene, Kiryu was lying to Ichi to keep the conversation flowing a less awkwardly as possible when he was talking about going around a few times.
Also he lit the entire place on fire? Remember the end to Yakuza 4 "This place is the only evidence guys like us ever existed" - Kiryu to Saejima.
But of course, never forget that Kiryu is determined to be the greatest self-cockblocker that ever existed

One of my favourite parts is him putting the suit back on and coming back as the dragon. Such an epic awesome scene itd very nostalgic but so really sad to Iook like this when he’s sick. can’t wait to see your reaction to the finale. You are not ready 😭

It started from Kiryu, and it will ends with Kiryu
it makes me feel the worst for daigo to see them burn down tojo hq like that. daigo grew up there, it was practically his home. I just think about him taking his first steps there as a baby, playing with kiryu and nishiki, reading books with kashiwagi... this was his entire life. pretty symbolic that it's nothing but ashes now.
I cried when he put his suit back on , we have seen him go from low level thug to freaking legend !! We've seen all the heartbreak, all the love and all the growth this man has gone thru and him having to hide it all just really hit hard but him going back to his OG look just felt like he managed to get back some of the freedom he lost to keep his family safe. This man aged into a silver fox ! He stays looking so freaking good!!!!!!!
Just to help you understand at 33:10 on why Ichiban was freaking out, it at that point he realised that I wasn’t what he said that upset Saeko, but what he didn’t say to her

Lvl 48-50 is best for the final chapter "that's the recommendation"+ receive you always hit it's just reminded me of all the fun and sad time we had during all yakuza games :(

You should wrap Kiryu’s life links before finishing the game. You should have one more left. I’m not sure if it can be activated at the point you’re at right now.
I can. Looked it up before this chapter, when I can go back to Kiryu and I switch between night and day like Ichiban so reach level 9 for him.
You still got some Kiryu Remerence stuff to do i almost missed a few of them. when i did my playthrough

Definitely reach both of the parties to level 48-50 at most. I was slightly over leveled (around lvl 53-54) by the final chapter but, the final boss can be a little tough if you don’t know what you’re doing.
I’m very curious to hear your thoughts on the ending itself. It’s… something.
45:58 Hearing that and seeing the suit on Kiryu made me slam my desk..... I hurt my fist but that's not the point I was pumped 🤣🤣❤
Kiryu and Ichi talking on the roof is such a great scene, I really wish there was more stuff like this in the game. I think they have a lot of funny and genuine chemistry, they'd have been great if they worked together longer.

i honestly recommend getting to like level 50, i attempted to beat the final battle on like level 45 or 46 and i got decimated
The dragon his back looks like its faded a bit and he's quite a tad thinner.

Kiryu coming out in the suit like that showing his face with his OG haircut makes you realize how old he actually is now. The faded red shirt and faded skin. Was really sad to see him when we normally see him in the suit looking prime.
Y’know Kiryu’s getting old when you notice his hair is slowly matching his iconic suit.

Also Kuroda's voice acting!!! His subtle inflections when he was talking to Ichiban after he put the suit on, he sounded so tired 😭😭😭
