As for Elden Ring, they succumbed to them already with the Body Type 1 & 2. I usually play female characters, and thanks to that nonsense (it was my first body type 1 & 2 game, since I mostly play older games) I ended up using a male character because I didn't even know what it meant, and I couldn't notice enough differences through the armor. After I found out what it was a bit later on, it honestly kind of broke my immersion knowing why they changed that and honestly made me kind of upset and disappointed. Like, I just felt like I was playing a watered down version of the game. Still a great game though, but I bet it would have been even better without whoever decided that body type stuff was necessary, and all the stuff that WITHOUT A DOUBT got changed as well that we know nothing about. I mean, if they felt the need to change that, just imagine all the other stuff they found "problematic".

Dark Sector is Digital Exreme's first game before they made Warframe. Their original idea was a lot more ambitions and closer to Warframe, but they didn't have the money to do it alone and needed a publisher, who shot down their original idea and they had to scale back. @@cripwalker665 God of War is a really bad example with how the story turned out compared to the old one. It's kind of like the way Halo went. As for Elden Ring, they succumbed to them already with the Body Type 1 & 2. I usually play female characters, and thanks to that nonsense (it was my first body type 1 & 2 game, since I mostly play older games) I ended up using a male character because I didn't even know what it meant, and I couldn't notice enough differences through the armor. After I found out what it was a bit later on, it honestly kind of broke my immersion knowing why they changed that and honestly made me kind of upset and disappointed. Like, I just felt like I was playing a watered down version of the game. Still a great game though, but I bet it would have been even better without whoever decided that body type stuff was necessary, and all the stuff that WITHOUT A DOUBT got changed as well that we know nothing about. I mean, if they felt the need to change that, just imagine all the other stuff they found "problematic".

To shorten a 14 minute video for those who might seek for it, tourists, activists, investors, and "journalists" have helped ruin the landscape of gaming. They are only in it for putting their values into gaming (for the worst majority of the time) or extract from it (investors primarily) whatever monetization schemes they can come up with to siphon out any and all money that they can from you. Sure, his examples are clearly cherry picked, though, he's right given the failures of the games he's picked on the recent side of things, aren't doing too well at all, Dustborn being one of them, and Concord having to flop harder than it to overshadow it's failure. Even if there were flops back in the day or golden era of video games, there wasn't a bunch of delusional fans pretending as if it was flawless or anything else, and it actually had to be argued for rather than insulting the other person for disliking it for not getting on board with the "modern era" or "current year" w/e it's being called.

Out of the 1377 that were released on the Famicom, which was the current console when I was a kid, I was a gen 3 console baby....a disproportionately large percentage would today be considered kusoge. Hell they were considered kusoge even back then. And you didn't know if a game was going to be good, you had no real ability to do research out of picking up a gaming magazine and hoping the reviewers weren't paid off to only say good things *coughfamitsucough*. Sure, lots of garbage is made today, but so are a lot more games actually worth playing, and you can actually find out it's good beforehand. What was it The Critic said? I feel like the people who say no good games today, either have a VERY limited number of genres they play (so if you're a sports fan, I'm sorry your genre is in the state it's in, I'm sad about what happened to PES too), or they don't look very hard. Videogames isn't just the front page of steam. And even if that's all you care about...I hear Space Marine 2 is pretty good.

Corporate Games Companies decided that their target demographic (teenage boys) would have a fascination with the military since they knew there was a chance the military was in their future. Dark Sector is Digital Exreme's first game before they made Warframe. Their original idea was a lot more ambitions and closer to Warframe, but they didn't have the money to do it alone and needed a publisher, who shot down their original idea and they had to scale back. They then made Dark Sector.
